A level 2 TH cuts in half the prestige per hit.

Since the TH level is the divisor in the prestige calculation.

A level 1 TH gives you a divisor of 1, so you get all the prestige there is to get.

I agree a level 2 TH does give you a sustainable 1 city method. But it cannot compete with this level 1 TH swap off method for raw prestige gain per hour.

My level 10 hits average 171K prestige per, and lose an average of 16K archers, 3k scouts, 1k of each melee class per hit.

There are even faster methods which will generate 305K prestige per hit, but at the cost of 40K + archers, not sustainable.

Post your troop loses per hit too, and lets compare the resources used, verses the time spent.

You do need a stable area to do this method in, and the passive permission of the players on your server not to stop you.

But even with a level 2 TH you can be stopped.

prestige isnt just calculated by town hall, its also the amount of troops used on a target as a unrealistic example 1 archer kills a lvl 10 imagine the prestige gain, it will be in the millions

Not quite. The prestige gained is totally based on the troops you lose, has nothing to do with what troops you send. I'm currently trying to figure out the formula through which is calculated, but I'm not too sure yet.

The formula for combat prestige is based on troops lost as well.

You can prove this yourself by adding a 500 warriors to a level 5 farming run. You will lose the warriors, and get prestige. if you lost ballis you would get prestige too. But no one loses ballis on level 5 farm runs normally, and you just don't associate it.

Pick a nice round number above 100 to test with, and you will have the combat prestige formula pretty fast.

I have it, I am not giving it away, and no I didn't figure it out, I just read and listen a lot.

    Ideal setup:

1: Staging city close to the lvl 1 TH city for rapid troop movement.
    2: 4 level 10 NPCs at 1 mile
    3: 1 level 10 NPC at 2 miles

Round trip march time to NPCs is 10 minutes per mile.

    NPCs regenerate in 1 hour.

    4 lvl 10 s at one mile is 40 min + 1 lvl 10 at 2 miles is 20 min = 60 minutes.

So with one farming crew, you can hit 5 level 10s in one hour.

Add a second farming crew and more NPCs at 1.4 miles and you can push that to 9 lvl 10 hits per hour.

1 lvl 10 hit averages 171K prestige if the better mix of troops is used.

9 * 171 = 1.5 M prestige per hour on average, if you have optimal lvl 10 NPC placement.

    Grats DC.

As you can see the distance to NPCs IS a big deal on this. Your 8M run is pretty sweet. The other thing is feeding all those troops while building up for a run. There is a lot of balancing to this.

Grats again. Going double digits in one day is satisfying.
