Farming a level 10 NPC
Contents Of This Forum
I will tell you some things about farming a level 10 NPC, some ways I found successful, what they give, and what they are defended by. I have gathered this information either off the internet or personal experience.
1. Why you may want to farm.
2. What they are defended by.
3. Recommended/Min. Requirements.
4. Tactics I have found useful.
Part One: Why Farm A Level Ten NPC?
Level 10 NPCs are Multi-use cities. Just like any others. But these are even more-so.
When you decide to finally become competition in this game you will have a big upkeep on your troops. There are people with millions of troops in a single city. They require a large upkeep. So, a level 10 NPC gives you the following resources:
19,000,000 food
600,000 stone
600,000 iron
600,000
600,000 lumber
1,500,000 gold
Each time you attack a fully regenerated level 10 NPC you receive about 1.8m Exp, if your attack was successful. This is great for making those heroes over level 300 you so commonly see now adays.
Part Two: What is a level 10 NPC defended by?
A level 10 NPC has the following troops and defenses defending the city:
400,000 warriors
11,000 traps
5,500 abatis
3,666 archer towers
2,200 rolling logs
1,375 defensive trebuchets
Part Three: Recommended or Minimal Requirements to Attack a Level 10 NPC
There recommended research for a level 10 NPC attack is:
Archery level : 10
Military tradition level : 10
Iron working level : 10
Logistics level : 10
Compass level : 10
Medicine level : 10
There minimal research for a level 10 NPC attack is:
Archery level 8
Military tradition level : 8
Iron working level : 8
Logistics level : 8
Compass level : 8
Medicine level : 8
Researches that link together:
(Thank you The_Beast for this information)
Compass Level 10 is only advisable, when you have all Level 10 military techs.
Compass tech and the Medicine tech go together somehow.
Example:With Med8 and Compass9, I went 13 rounds against the
B10, on average. Once I up the techs to Med9 and Compass9, it went up to 14 rounds, which means bigger Archer losses. Now, once the Meds and compass hit 10, it went as low as 11 rounds.
The minimal building requirements:
Level 9 Rally Spot
Recommended building requirements:
Level 10 Rally Spot
Advised building requirements:
At least Level 6 Academy (not needed for successful attack)
Part Four: Tactics I Have Found Useful
I always scout for a hero between levels 10-20. Although people say under level 5 is best, I find that I loose more troops with that low of a defending hero.
If you have some, apply a war horn or ivory horn to reduce archer loss
These first few are for someone who has not yet gotten Catapults.
All these attacks are for heroes with a minimal of 150 attack and a recommended level of 170+.
Tactic 1
90k troops
Level 9 Rally Spot:
2,000---transports
2,000---Workers
2,000---Warriors
2,000---Scouts
82,000--Archers
Tactic 2
Level 10 Rally Spot:
3,000---Workers
3,000---Warriors
3,000---Scouts
89,000--Archers
2,000---Transporters
Tactic 3
Archers 90k
Trans 2K
Scouts 4k
Workers 2k
Warriors 2k
Tactic 4
This Tactic is used for those with catapults:
1,000---Workers
1,000---Warriors
1,000---Scouts
95,500--Archers
1,000---Catipults
500-----Rams
HAPPY HUNTING!!
