Why do people coin?

Disclaimer!!-- I know it's how Evony makes money to keep the servers up and running, yadda yadda.

But, other than that what is the point?

Yes, it will give you an advantage for a short time, but why spend money on something that could be deleted when finished, left if you get bored, or hacked?

I've spent a total of $20 since I started, shouldn't have, that's my opinion.

To me it feels like just throwing money away.

Am I missing something here?


PS: What is the most someone( let's use the people here) would be willing to spend and why?

Shift of topic a bit. This is my personal opnion why spend $30 if you are going to quit the server? (Ex: new servers people coin the crap out of it then move on.) What does it matter if your account never gets deleted?

I did for a New ID now feel like I can't quit that server, if I ever wanted to.

People spend to try to be the best..i spend to get excals and stuff

ppl mostly spend to lvl heros or holiday... big heros means more troops for fighting... everyone wants to be able to fight and win... having heros helps ALOT...

and ppl spend on new servers so they can beat on noobs and stuff and have fun for a bit... i dont like that... but what eva...


just to note, i dont coin... never have never will... but thats mostly cuz im poor... i WISH i had a BIG hero like some of these guys out there...
