What would you use as a weapon? Where would you go? Would you survive alone or with a group?
These are the things that will help you survive. Guns are a last choice weapon, as they draw more and more zombies to your position. The best weapon is a melee weapon, or a crossbow.
Post what you would use, where you would go, if you'd range the lands, or hole up in a defensible building, and if you'd have a group of survivors with you or not.

I'd survive with a group of friends, there's safety in numbers and a lot more can be accomplished by working within a group than acting alone.
We will roam the lands and cities searching out supplies, police stations and farm buildings would provide shelter and a place to rest up.. When the zombie apocalypse hits the first thing on the agenda will be transport. A school bus will be perfect, there's plenty of them about and enough room for me and my gang. We will fit the school bus out A-Team style with bars over the windows and snow plough type device on the front for mowing down any zombies wandering the roads.. On the roof we're gona fit a gun turret to provide all round defence and the advantage of height
The Bus of Death will have a fully stocked armoury with an assortment of guns, everything from shot guns (for close range killing) to sniper rifles
