But those are the best parts!

I have not seen Phantasm, but it sounds like I should I recently saw One Missed Call (I think it's Japanese) and it was great. Mirrors is another good recent film.

As for 80's horror I like zombie movies like Dawn of The Dead (well it's really 70s but oh well) and Friday the 13th was a good series. Gotta love slasher films.

I don't know why, but I have always loved scary stuff. Horror video games are great as well.

Oh man Phantasm is such a classic.

The first one is kinda old and out-of-touch.

But parts 2-4 are great. And you've got your zombies, little carnivorous dwarves, an interdimensional travelling mortician who is leaving ghost towns in the midwest, and floating spheres that latch onto people's heads and drill into their heads, squirting a stream of blood out the back. All done in good taste of course ROFL (If there is such a thing to that list).

And what fights them is a retired ice cream truck driver who uses a quadruple barrelled shotgun and his wisecracks are almost as good as Bruce Campbell's.

Do you like any newer horror films; stuff like 28 days later, or the remake of Dawn of the Dead?

Drag me to hell was awesome! However, I was still waiting for Bruce Campbell to make a cameo. Ah well, Army of darkness anyone?

Oooooh, I heard he's in a movie called Vacation where he takes a trip with a stripper gf to the Middle East and an apocalypse happens and wipes out the entire West. It seems interesting.
