CrushAll gets Crushed

For a week CrushAll of TheHorde has been pestering my host Peregrine.
A couple of days ago it turned into real waves, and for two days she fought him off.
Today I offered to take her place, I ported from one of my fields, and she Advanced into it.
Then, I advanced into her spot. There were waves incoming when she was there, but my bird didn't flash.
Hmmm, I thought, He must have recalled. Twenty minutes later I was surprised to see 8 new reports, 800m food gone, and only scraps left on my walls!
Another problem of Evony. But, it got better. An hour or two later he scouted me twice, and launched. He's about 10 miles away.
In my city was 60k Rams, 20k Pults, 50k Balli, 1m Scouts, and 300k Arch.
I also held 150k Cavs, 350k Warriors, 50k Pike, 30k Sword, and some 35k Workers.
Instead of letting him kill my cavs and layers I demolished them all.
Not a bad thing really, I was out of lumber and iron anyway (;

With his attacks an hour away, and knowing his pattern, I decided to set an alarm on my phone for 7 minutes before the attacks, and go on about my business.
I'm currently on vacation, so I enjoyed the sun and sand and returned to his attacks.
I knew that all I had to do was open gates, but wanted to make sure no other waves were added.
Just as Pere said, he had done nothing, not even rescout, and this is the result.

Though my defense wasn't the best, under the circumstances it wasn't bad.
I didn't move in my best hero(only about 550) because I knew he'd be stuck there 24 Hours.
Brad1's attack is only 385, but the old boy did well. Too bad he couldn't get an upgrade out of it.

I'm going into Holiday this evening, because I have family matters to attend to, but I don't doubt that I will soon have more reports from this one (;

no rep for this lol...adv porting into a battle..ud have been better letting ur host take those hits with sum reins then porting in and trucing till lockdown was over...and being plundered for 800mil food...not a gr8 start to a battle tbh

I wasn't looking for a great start. If i was I would have taken a ten next to him. The 800m food wasn't bad, I'd just taken 8b from one of their members.

then why didnt you do that...

if you were able to cap a 10 I cant understand the need for an adv port 10miles from the attker, is your state so widely open that you cant port round it with a random?

those hits were poor a small rein of archers would have defended them personally cant understand why the need for an adv port into oncoming waves with no ability to move troops out

I wasn't trying to attack, and as I said, I was going into Holiday shortly after.

ok so just to clarify ... you and your host used adv ports to avoid losing a farm field that your host was unable hold due to a red attker but you also claimed to be able to cap a 10 beside the said attker...wouldnt it have made more sense to cap up on the red and force them to leave

i dnt wana get into an overlong debate over this just a strange way to play the game..port in be locked in and then holimode..when reins to the said ally would have made more sense and saved 2 players 2 adv ports,cents used on holi and troops from being deleted and 800mil food from being plundered
