i got the first 3 of the series(altair and then ezio twice) and theyre awesome games, but i do feel theyre milking it now, i kinda found the 3rd repetitive and didnt get the fourth as of yet, i might come christmas when ive time to play it

Well ive played through all of 3 and 2 never played one or 3 but the forth one i do believe was somewhat repetative of 3 with just different textures so instead of Roma it was Constantinopoli. However this new one seems to be doing things they have not done before as much as it may look the same i think perhaps that some of the things they have implemented into the game will extend its life span very much so (that and it will help me with my history class). But i play them more or less for the story its self i love how intricate the story is and can play for days on end that is why i think i will get it

Assassins Creed III is based in North America during the revoloutionary war. You are a native american assassin named Connor Kenway and you fight the Revoloutionary war while fighting templars. However they have added new features to the game and have added season. They have the wilderness where you can hunt and do other things for money as well as there is dual wielding weapons and naval warfare. They also added new weapons for killing like a tomahawk and a hidden blade like thing that allows you to shoot a rope out and hang someone.

I can't wait for this game I've already pre-ordered it, although it isn't my favourite game/s of all time it comes pretty close, I do hope there's another planned even after this one comes out

My guess is either they do the same thing they did with Ezio and make addons to his assassin life or they go into a early 1900's assassin because they are running out of time in history to make assassins. That or you will play as Desmond finally and kill the templars which is my guess.

You bring up a good point sadly

BUT there is the possibility of other timelines between Altair/Ezio/Connor/Desmond, altogether hundreds of years that could potentially tie the storylines together e.g Altair - ??? - Ezio (set somewhere maybe in the same Arabian sector or for something different maybe Egypt?) and so on plus the movie of Ezios later life featured an assassin from Asia, maybe another Assassins Creed, to link Ezio and Connor, set in China, maybe Japan can't remember where the Asian assassin was from I hope that what Ive said comes true lol

There is a major possibility for prequels. The franchise is too successful for Ubisoft to not give the go-ahead on an Ancient Egyptian/Chinese/Greek AC.

I remember in AC2, that room below Ezio's uncle's house with the 7 statues of major past assassins (The Assassin's Sanctuary Forward to 4:25). Mario Auditore says that they're assassins that "guarded the freedom of humanity when it was most threatened".

There's a Chinese, Roman, and Egyptian assassin for sure. Upon a wiki search of the names I get the following:

Leonius (Roman), Wei Yu (Chinese), Amunet (Egyptian), Iltani (Babylonian [Greek]), Qulan Gal (Mongolia), and Darius (Persia).

    Further info here: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Sanctuary

So, though the main storyline with Desmond and the animus is likely to end with AC3, there could still be plenty of 'just-for-the-heck-of-it' prequels All of which would be incredibly interesting given the timezones listed above.

    Fingers crossed Eric

I think we will see this Assassins Creed as the last of the Assassin change, as stated above we may see others like the Ezio story, concluding with a Desmond character, but the thought of prequels is exciting and as Eric says, it's too big for Ubisoft to stop with this set of games, similar with the Mass Effect series, THERE WILL BE MORE!!!!! lol
