    A continuation of King's Knight, back by overwhelming demand. Continuing shortly after the plot left off, but new dragon knights are welcome to join in as well.

    Equipment: Zafiro, a light bow made of balsa wood and enchanted with the Elven Greatbow enchantment, with arrows specially crafted to enhance their precision and speed - recently received arrowheads made of mithril that were enchanted for increased penetration and hold various 'slaying' abilities (ex. dragon-slayer, giant-slayer) which she has yet to make use of; a specially well-crafted dagger left to her by her grandmother; carries healing potions; legendary sword known as Almace, formerly wielded by Bishop Turpin; a chestnut brown cloak with chameleon enchantment to help her blend into her environment; and two enchanted rings. The first of these grants her immunity to the breath weapons of chromatic dragons, while the second is a protection ring that creates an invisible field around the wearer to allow for deflection of physical attacks.
    Description:
    Background: Kirsti had an isolated childhood, and as such became quite enthralled with her grandfather's tales of far-away lands. She longed to go exploring as her grandparents had done, but her parents would not let her for fear she would die as her grandmother had. Kirsti was rather resentful of this, but bowed to their wishes for a time and honed her skills. Once he felt she was ready, her grandfather told her of the last quest he had been on. The one that her grandmother died on, and the only one he'd ever left unfinished. Weary of adventuring himself, and knowing of Kirsti's great wanderlust, he asked her if she would be willing to finish it. Naturally, she jumped at the chance, though knowing that with the great danger involved her parents would never allow it. As such, Kirsti left her home at night, being careful not to wake her parents. Curious soul though she is, Kirsti is all too aware of the values of caution, which she's been taught from her youth, and such is one of her dominant traits. However, she is a dreamer at heart, and will sometimes (although fairly seldom) pause to reflect on the beauty and diversity of the lands through which she wanders. Since leaving home, she has undergone many adventures, of which you can find a fair portion in the archives in the original King's Knight RP if you feel bothered to know of them.

    History: Evie is an Achenaran, and proud of it. Her father, Tomas, is a lieutenant in the Achenaran army, meaning her mother is left to raise Evie and her siblings on her own for the most part. Not an easy task, as Evie has 3 brothers and 2 sisters >.< But she does the best that she can, and Evie respects her quite greatly for that. However, Tomas is still Evie's idol, and Evie hopes that one day she can join the army like he did and follow in his steps. As such, she studies hard in school, with any downtime being spent on games akin to King's Knight.

    Description:
    Background: The heir to the throne of Talvi, Salvator began training quite early in childhood. He lost his father when he was 13 to an unknown murderer. When his mother subsequently married his uncle, just under 3 months after his father's death, Salvator went into a funk (semi-depressed state) for a period of time. While in his funk, Salvator was visited by his father in a dream, in which he learned his uncle was actually responsible for his father's death. Needless to say, this didn't help his mood any, and Salvator shunned all but his closest friends. After a time, he decided to indirectly confront his uncle and mother by having a bard recite a story that essentially retold his father's death in the guise of a tale about another kingdom. This caused his uncle to send him away under pretense of a diplomatic venture, with the secret intention of having him killed and silenced as well. However, this plan backfired, but rather than return to his corrupted kingdom Salvator opted to stay in exile, roaming the world trying to serve justice where he could and telling his tale wherever he went, in the vague hope that perhaps someday he would regain his kingdom.

    Appearance:
    History: Raised in a less than stellar home environment, Simon quickly developed an extreme introversion tendency whilst at home in order to avoid his parents - or rather, his mother and her ever-changing boyfriends. He never knew his father, but presumes this was just as well, and though he admires his older sister Sophie for the courage she showed in protecting their younger sister until she ran away, Simon can not find this self-same courage in himself. To compensate the nagging sense of inadequacy and guilt, he has taken to reading manga and playing VR games such as Dragon's Knight, imagining himself to have the bravery and strength of a hero. Simon more or less rotates between living at different friends' houses, avoiding facing his home situation as much as he can.

    Character name: Balthazzar Steele
    Race: Furian
    Class: Silver Dragon Knight, Furian Knight
    Ability: Sheer Cold
    Level: 100
    Equipment: Bow, Sword, quiver of metal arrows, and a suit of ancient Furian armor.
    Description: Standing tall and reserved, he possesses a level head in most situations. His eyes are usually a duller blue color, but they turn an icy-blue when he gets distracted from hiding his eye color, which is an easy way to tell a Furian apart from an elf. His hair is usually a darker color, but whether it's black or some other color most people can't seem to tell.
    Background: Apparently, he's been through more than he's let on. In spite of his seemingly young age, he carries a wealth of knowledge for someone who might be his age, and also a good amount of common sense and wisdom--also not common with Furians in his age group.

    Coming from a less fortunate lesser noble house called Stormhold, he comes from among the last descendants of Ancalagon the Great, an ancient and powerful King of the Furians.

    Long after the fall of the Furian kingdoms, his own house endured, until Stormhold Castle was captured when Balthazzar was just a small child. He believes that he is the last of his house, and the only one left with the blood of Ancalagon still in his veins.

    Believing to be the only one left, he went in search of both knowledge and wisdom, when he came across Dragos and his band of men--who happened to have made camp in that city. He hung out with Dragos until he turned towards evil.

    Eventually overcoming him, he set out on his own journey, eventually arriving back at the Platinum Palace, as he was at a loss of what to do next.

    Appearance: Tall, Black hair, and Ice-blue eyes, he stands only a bit taller than the average Achenaran. With a muscular but slim build, he's known to be an athlete of all sorts on his sparsely populated planet.

    History: Born into one of the richest families of the Imperium, he is still young, but has taken more than a few courses in various forms of martial arts, history, politics, and everything else an extravagantly wealthy person ought to know. At the moment, he is alone, has no heirs, many suitors, and not a care in the world for any of them.

    Rumor has it that he was descended from a fabulously wealthy person who moved into the area before the Achenarans came, and grew rich off the new Imperium and their own investments after joining them. However, that is more or less a family myth, and nothing more, as no records are preserved from that time period.

    Being a wealthy man, he has made even more money from his many ventures on other planets since he took control of his family's estate--and has since gotten bored, having nothing much to do with his spare time. He found a new and seemingly popular virtual world game come out, and has decided to try it out.

    Description: An older Furian who looks so ordinary that most wouldn't pick him out from the crowd, until his fragile anger management breaks.
    Background: Living a long and boring existence, he eventually had his estate attacked by soldiers of Tiamat a couple hundred years ago. He's sworn revenge of the most atrocious sort on her, and he's teamed up with a man he used to hate, to administer some payback to his nemesis. Currently leading a small band of men with Severus Black.

    Appearance: In one sentence, he looks evil, at first sight, even though he isn't. Standing about the height of your average Achenaran, he looks like your middle-aged Furian.

    History: WAY too long and boring for anybody to care. Currently he's the King of Azuro, living a bland life of either ruling an uninteresting kingdom or beating people into the ground.

    Currently holds a massive grudge against Dragos of Elentar, over a fight they had centuries ago. This has affected his mind deeply, and as such, he has breathtaking anger management issues, even in the world of King's Knight.

    Description: Looks exactly like he does in the outside universe.
    Background: For the most part, it's unknown. What is known is that he and a rather bland guy named Eddard Hammer have been friends for a long time.

    His lead took them to the Furian kingdom of Asgard several decades ago, where King Naresuan was still in power. He died and they stuck on, even when Naresuan's son was killed and Adrian took the throne.

    They have been two of his best men, and are usually sent on patrols to check the safety of the kingdom, mostly so they have something to do.

    Character background: Though his class skills are primarily magical in nature, Frederick thinks of himself more as a knight. He seems to have no difficulty using armor and a sword, despite the fact that the red mage class is not focused on melee combat. This is due to the fact that he uses a physical connection rather than pure neural, as all of his physical attributes and skills are those of the player, not those of the character.

    Description: Merlin appears quite younger than the legends tell. The reasons are unknown, but definitely mysterious.
    Background: A legend in his own right, Merlin once mentored the boy who drew Caliburn from the stone and became King of the Britons. His attentions were drawn to Frederick after the blademaster mastered several weapons belonging to the ancient king, and he decided it was time to mentor another promising individual.

    Equipment:
    Rapier (Scorpion's Bite): Aurelia's trusty sword-rapier that has served her for years on end soldiers on. It draws it's powers from Aurelia herself; a fragment of her soul was forged within the blade, thus empowering it further as Aurelia grows in power. Forged from adamantium, like most drow weapons, it is fairly heavy for a rapier, but is still able to be wielded with speed and accuracy.

    Longbow (Sureshot): Aurelia has never been much of a ranged combatant without using magic, but she was trained in the use of a longbow from an early age at the request of her father Garan - he himself was a very competent archer, and he would often teach his daughter how best to take out a knight, or how to aim from horseback. As a result, although Aurelia doesn't often use it, she carries a longbow, with the shaft made from the finest yew wood and the string from silk, akin to the classic English or Welsh longbow. It has some magical properties, such as improved accuracy and some fire damage to the arrows, but it's nothing too special.

    Background: Born into the prestigious House of Shadowstrider, Aurelia is the elder daughter of Lady Vierinissa Shadowstrider - her sister is the more reserved, bookish Sabuit. Aurelia was always a rebellious child, something that did not truly endear her to her mother, even though Vierinissa would more than likely give up her life for her daughter; a rare trait in a Drow, being that they are a race mostly of evil selfish overlords and scheming underlings. House Shadowstrider is one of a few examples where those negative traits have been overturned - it's possible, just not very likely.

    As a member of House Shadowstrider, Aurelia is subject to 'The Blessing', the ancient spell weaved by Jhulva and Tebnuar Shadowstrider in their youth. The Blessing is a protective ward against aging - those who it affects will not age or die of old age: Jhulva is 1512 years old as of this time, whilst Tebnuar is about 1490 years old. Very few elves live beyond 1000, even with magical assistance, so it is a credit to Jhulva and Tebnuar's skill with the arcane arts that they are able to live to such an advanced age, and an even bigger credit when one realises they look barely over 160 for elves! The Blessing starts to take effect around 160 years of age (Haelthrae and Krenrar were exceptions, as they were affected at 151 and 148 respectively, no-one knows why) and renders that person immune to all aging effects, even those caused by magical attacks or spells.

    Aurelia had a fairly eventful upbringing - she was made Marquess of Blacksmoke at the age of 57, and survived both the Attack on Blacksmoke and the Plague of Silverwater ten years later. It was rumoured that Aurelia was selected to be assassinated by a demonic power (possibly one of the two Demon Lords who masterminded the Attack on Blacksmoke) but she slaughtered the assassin, most likely a balor, with arcane magics. She, like everyone else in her House, is a devout worshipper of Eilistraee, and regularly goes on Hunts in Silverwater territory - her most prestigious kill is a Bebilith that she slew by herself without magical assistance. This she achieved with her rapier that was forged for her at birth using a small fragment of her soul and only the finest adamantite ore was smelted to produce the adamantium for the sword. Aurelia wields the sword with great proficiency, and due to its properties as a soulblade, it cannot be used by any other person except Aurelia - attempting to do so will result in a excruciatingly painful death, so don't try it.

    Composite Longbow (Heart Hound): Sabuit's custom-built bow, with a string of a thin strand of mithril, and a hollow red-coloured shaft made of an unknown metal. Sabuit is a very good shot with a longbow, easily surpassing even Raeviir and definitely surpassing her sister Aurelia. The reason for this is Sabuit's hatred of melee combat. Sabuit can easily shoot five arrows into target's centre from 100 metres away - she trains every day without fail, unless ill. One additional reason for Sabuit's dislike of melee combat is her fragility - she can't take punishment, especially heavy sword-blows or axe-blows. Heart Hound's magical abilities include True Strike (homing in on a vulnerable part of armour or the heart of an unarmoured foe), flaming acidic arrows and an enchantment known to some as Infinite, and others as Generation - Heart Hound makes its own ammunition magically, complete with the magical properties, which means 'little Sabi' doesn't have to lug around quivers of arrows.

    Dagger (Borea's Blood): What appears to be an ice crystal to most people, Borea's Blood is actually the crystalline blood of an ancient ice witch named Borea, surprise surprise. Upon her violent death at the hands of trolls in the Frozen North, her blood froze into a single crystal and shattered, flying far and wide across the continent of Faerun. Whilst adventuring in the depths of Myth Drannor, Sabuit came across the dagger in the dead hands of a dwarf sorcerer, and took it for her own. Borea's Blood also allows the wielder to cast Cone of Cold 3 times per day, using a fragment of the witch's power that remains within the crystal. The crystal is not ice at all - it does not melt in one's hand, nor does it shatter upon impact of a hard surface. It is cold to the touch, but Sabuit can deal with cool temperatures...

    Scimitar and Whip (Suffering and Torment): Raeviir's signatory weapons, Suffering is the scimitar (easy to remember because of alliteration) and Torment is the whip. Torment is a particularly sadistic weapon - it is both bladed and corrosive, so once the slashing wound has been inflicted, the wound begins to peel and burn as the acid does its work. It's said that Raeviir enjoys the screaming of her victims' agony, but she has neither confirmed nor denied it. Given Raeviir, though, it's entirely possible. Suffering is her scimitar, which is made of adamantium, like Scorpion's Bite. It can slice through armour due to an enchantment, that has proven lethal to enemies who have underestimated Raeviir's ability to take them down, and also to make sure they stay down. It also causes acid injuries, and is also rumoured to poison victims as well, using a fast-acting toxin that kills in minutes, if not seconds. Raeviir, being a Drow, is skilled in poison use, and therefore never risks poisoning herself... Just as well.

    Longbow (Deliverance): Raeviir's longbow is made of the same materials as Sabuit's longbow, but with less magical properties. The arrows are merely acidic in damage, and the accuracy bonus is less impressive, but even so, Deliverance is not a bow to be sniffed at.

    Greatsword (Blood and Tears): A zweihander that was forged specifically for Vierinissa, Blood and Tears may seem an odd name for a paladin's weapon, but Vierinissa named it such because that is what she hopes to bring to the forces of darkness that threaten the world. It is a sword that is also enchanted to slice through armour, whilst dealing fire and also divine damage (divine damage is magical damage, put simply) to her enemies. Vierinissa has trained with this weapon for over 100 years, so she's pretty good with it. It has served her as her weapon in her duels with Kyrranwyn My'athar, and has also served as her instrument of purgation of evil - Vierinissa works tirelessly to protect the innocent and punish those guilty of what we would now call 'crimes against humanity'.

    Background: Jon the Wanderer, as he is known to some, is a travelling Pale Master that travel around the world, seeking for lost knowledge and old, non-special artifacts that he sells to the highest bidder in towns and cities. Although he dwells in Necromancy, he's a nice guy that doesn't go around and desecrate graveyards and sacrifices people. That is unless you try to cheat him on a ware or something, then he will punch you, but that's what most people would. The blue baby Dragon that travels with him is a mystery to most people, but what is known is that its name is Zip and does everything that Jon tells it to do.

    Background: One of the few Gnolls not to be born into an inherently evil clan Darkeye grew up on the fringes of society's , at young age he taught himself to read, write and speak common (though the last one is usually in the form of broken up sentences) though he knows common quite well he generally likes to speak in the gutteral growls and other noises that make up the Gnollish language. Being part of an outcast clan, he and his family were constantly under threat from both humans and other Gnolls, until the entire tribe was killed in a raid from another Gnoll clan. For this reason Darkeye has been wandering as of late and loathes all other Gnolls
