it seems that it is a regular concern this mis interpretation of range. from what i gather.
it might be beneficial to point this corrective information in some detail.
as my root point was to put myself in a new players position and try to get in their mind
as to what their thinking when reading.
i checked out a couple other guides,
and it doesnt explain this.
i honestly thought walls counted all the time for setting not just range buff, but rangesetting as well.
but tbh the only time ive sent just 1k cav was in spams, lmao
at any rate.
it might help curb the mis interpretation for future subjects reading the material.
as me and righteous talked last night, japanpimps mess still runs rampit. lol
to many half truths out there, we need to breed ur chit and cover up the other crap.

Updates: More colour and underlining, will be adding propper attack/life calcs sooner or later and will be confirming close combat OOO (order of operations) rule 1.

hey gilgad, very good guide, now ive got somewhere to send ppl when they tell me they want to learn the battle mechanics of the game. i enjoyed reading it. your terminology and attacking layout is different to the way i learned, but the figures etc are easily recognisable.

one thing thats missing though which i felt is important that doesnt seem to be on the guide is how archers/ballies/pults fire at different powers at different ranges

someone like wolfgang or blah can confirm the exact figures, i cant remember where i got them and due to getting a new comp recently, i no longer have them.

if i remember correctly it was

25% power @ 0% range
100% power @ 1-50% range
50% power @ 51-100% range

lol you might as well toss it all in, many will read your guide and through no fault of your own go wtf

others will be too lazy and wont make it past the first page

only a certain amount will go through it, grasp the concepts and see where it applies

"As i'm teaching you, most of this will be going through your head and you'll be like, WTF" hahahahah.
