Honestly both our election choices were terrible. Abbott or Rudd is basically a choice between Tweedledee or Tweedledum. My Vote went to the fishers and shooters party. at least if Abbott had to pay them off for their share of the votes we might get a slight reduction in our current firearms rules. (Unlikely i know, but yes i am hoping here)
I dont know one person who wanted either leader. With Windsor stepping down in my electorate, our local choices were pretty much just as bad.
I agree Rudd is a better choice then Gillard. She was terrible. The real difference between our two options was do we want a guy that wears budgie smugglers or a guy that speaks Chinese as PM. Rudd had his turn, Lets give Abbott a go. Lets face it, he cant be worse then Gillard can he?

I really found this whole election to be a waste of time IMO, really annoyed me from every angle, whether it was the sensationism from the media or the disgusting grabs to peoples emotions and wallets from the pollies. Sorry to be so bitter and jaded, I threw my vote away on whatever party was on the top of the forms and walked away as soon as I could. Rant over
