    Let's see if you can prove us incorrect about your knowledge of the game.

    What is the most efficient set up for a city in early-server play? What troops are needed to take a 16? How early can one attack a lvl 10 npc? What is most important in the first 4 weeks of game play? Why can a CD so effective in age2? There's plenty more but I figure those are some good things to start out with ......................

    I am not a lost cause, Stal. I just don't have the time for Evony anymore. I used to have the time and money. Now, I'm busier and have more real life expenses, leaving me with little or nothing to play Evony. Therefore, I might not even go to na53. I just would want a good alliance. But then again, this probably isn't the way to go about that lol. I juust made myself look bad.

    Well for your first city you need 1 farm 1 stone mine and the rest iron and wood mills... to take a 12 you need
    Archers: 1,500,000
    Warriors: 400,000
    Pikemen: 220,000
    Worker: 10,000
    Scouts: 10,000
    Swordsmen: 10,000

    a 12 has
    Warriors: 1,120,000
    Swordsmen/Pikemen: 162,666
    Archers: 42807
    Cavalry/Cataphract: 108,444
    Ballista/Catapult/Battering Ram: 14,640
    Rolling Log: 6,000
    Archerís Tower: 6,666
    Defensive Trebuchet: 5,000
    Trap: 22,000
    Abatis: 11,000

    the earliest you can take your ten is
    1-2 weeks
    4-5 days with help
    1 week and 2 days if you get a lil help
    2 weeks if your alone.

    A CD can be very important in age2 becauses After troop movement and attack, Wall defences attack. Traps,Abatis,DTs all autokill units, destroying a fraction of them every round and spreading the damage across attacking troops. Logs are a bit unkown, they seem to work like T/A/D but only have 1300 range and supposeldy have "life". Traps affect Infantry and HB units, abatis HB only, logs Infantry/HB, DTs Infantry/HB/Mechanics. ATs are quite different, they do not autokill but act like a stationary troop instead, with life and attack. They have a base range of 1300(100 more than archers) and as soon as enemy units come in range they fire on them. ATs awesome life, Non autokill and the ability to attack round after round withut being touched in a 5k defence, or soak up attacks like a sponge allowing archers to get many free shots in in a CD makes them them the preffered defence in most player cities, But inclusion of T/A/D is crucial for setting the range of the battlem.......... and thrs a whole more i can add to this

    Reread the questions and reanswer. The last is not as complicated as you have thought it to be. Tho the first you supplied minimal info - expand there. The 10s part belies your inexperience and incorrect answer on the first part though I will admit the timing has changed since I last did a server start.

    Oh, and i said SIXTEEN, not TWELVE.

    He said 16 not a 12.
    You can take a 12 much easier than what you said:
    Hit with a balley wave.
    Then you can either do straight loyalty waves of arch or you can do a few arch bows to clean up to lessen your losses for the loyalty waves.

    ive been host of over 4 alliances that were top 30 always so yes i have capd a 16 before 3 times 2 with help 1 by myself. its true its easier with 125k ballies but i like to use archers instead...

    also for your first city you dont need a ware house you need 5 cotts 1 acad 1 embassy 1 wrk shop 1 stable 1 tower 1 rally 1 inn 1 relief station 1 feasting hall 1 forge and the rest barrackses

    Good job you know the waves to take a 16. It looks like you're lacking some pike waves and scouts/phract waves ... your answers seem like you have a spreadsheet in front of you from about 2-3 years ago before big innovations were made in attacking 16s. In general you seem like you have the resources but in all honesty - purely based on how you have answered and acted - you dont have the raw knowledge and ability to be able to make optimal use of them. As for being host of over 4 alliances that were top 30, that really really really doesnt mean sht. it means less than sht. How many of your caps were fast-caps?

    The thing about the city isnt just about city or town - the idea that you drew "city excluding town portion where some of the most important buildings are" seems a little far-fetched. Your description is pretty apt, though if you are running a lumber city it is possible to do 4 cotts with excess in population *(DO NOT ARGUE THIS POINT I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THIS IS TRUE AND HAVE HAD FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE TRY TO TELL ME OTHERWISE).*

    gotta remember that at the beginning an extra barrack can be a difference of 10k ballies per day and even more archers thereby allowing for faster capping.

    also, answer for the CD question was this: due to the split damage rule my friend found that CD can operate much much more effectively than it does on age1. Of course that requires the right defender at the wheel - my friend gwar is kind of the ultimate defender from age1 and now age2 with a defense and wave that he and others of my friends devised and used effectively on na44.
