Yes and no. China, no copyrights, copies game, "sued" by a real company...... I didn't watch the video, but I was around to know what went down. None of it really matters. Play or don't play, but if you want to use the forums don't go on about Evony's sorted past, even I (who seemingly gets away with anything) have been reprimanded for talking about it. All that was 4+ years ago, it's done and over with at this point.

Evony has zero customer service and a F rating with the BBB. If something is making you doubt your time wasted playing here, let it be those two things, not where the game originated, because really, there was nothing "illegal" about what most of what they did. Maybe unethical, but that's up for debate.

Memo to self: continue to never click on ads on web pages. Also: particularly make sure not to click on stuff that feels it has to play on sex to bait you in, yet is not a **** site.

It was recently checked by google bots an all and they found no malware , though i left as i wont use unlicensed bot sites , and your toast with out them
