okay, to shake the rust off last night SDMF decided to go for a wee jaunt and see what he could see.

Well The USARMY_6 war city belonging to Paularhode was out pestering some smaller accs in Dacia, So SDMF decided to pester back.

Paular decides that "Nope" he isnt going to like the set that is incoming hitting him, so he holidays. This makes SDMF sad.

Then SDMF has an idea. "I wonder if you can break the gates of a Holidayed person."

The answer, it seems is yes. Yes you can break the gates of a holidayed person. Poor Paular.

Okay. Now we really want to kill something. I see MirsDej pestering some accounts in burgundy and SDMF goes to play. The resulting battle takes HOURS. Both are well armed and at the end of it all, id say the result was pretty well even. SDMF ended up with a lot of honour (roughly 160m - given 60-80m, dropped it then was given another 80m during the battle.) (I didn't save any defense reports sorry!) and Dej has some hero leveling to do. Dej is certainly a force to be reckoned with now! (It was 5k defense, scout/cavs hitting reinforced layers, The odd scout/cav hitting lista/pults and mech waves going splat)

After both Dej and SDMF decided they had enough, (After a good 4-6 hours of battle) SDMF decided to go chasing his layers he had to move out to stop Dej murdering them. to his surprise the farm town he had ported in (a simple 10 farm town) could no longer return home. Cambridge of 6283185 (Thats the alliance name, Its a subgroup of the 411/USARMY coalition) was in the spot. So i took a nearby flat, and randomed into the stat (it was full, as most states are with the full scale 3 way war on ss38 at the moment, as you might expect.)

SDMF had very little in the way of layers as i was still trying to get the farm town close with the layers in it (And i eventually grabbed another flat and moved layers in that way) But he also had to drop the 80m honour Dej was nice enough to leave him with (5 levels to his main hero was nice tho, As well as like 9 random ports) So when all that was done it was time to start on Cambridge

Now you know how many layers i had, you know why i lost those rams in his first set of mechs at the war city. Thats a LOT OF LAYERS TO MOVE! especially in the 4 min it took dej to reach me. (I had started moving them slightly before he started sending, which is why i was able to get them out.)

I was hitting a Dacia (with whom we have been allied for years, and have declared on us after an agreement to do so on the 8th of February for the sake of the server's survival) when SDMF popped in, reinforcing it. At the same time, a 7800 alliance city very close-by was offline and I proceeded with hitting it before I attended to my very skillfull friend.

Unfortunately, I deleted every report. I keep clean reports pages & inboxes lol.

When I started, there was only his 1 city. I foolishly sent a set of mech waves believing he would port (I am too accustomed to it, as is he lol. To be honest, I was an idiot to assume that lol). When I did that, he immediately war ported (yes?) a second city and he successfully ensnared me to commit several hours on him to his team mates & their feeder's delight.

The 1st mech wave killed something, rest went splat. Seeing he managed to move 8m archers and a few mill meat (inc layers/horses) within 4mins, that startled me. Then I immediately broke gates on his layers city, phracting the horses. A phract wave landed against his phracts, killed 40k if I recall. Its what I do to larger war cities when I can't do much else when in either CD or 5k. In this case, it was to sneak on him and pile honour & pressure.

I can't remember what I did next before our break, but remember sending pike waves to both cities - out of curiosity, wanted to see if they would kill anything in 5k. They didn't. I aren't and won't claim to be a top player as I've still learning from experience, something I lack (like the time I meched with 200att heroes post maint against superted in USARMY.. I thought they'd kill more! :l That was a bloody disaster and they truced it before trans came<--- Noob)

Ahem, back to the main story. I bled heroes, something ssf can confirm, and I wasn't in a position then to properly assualt a 5k city with scouts @ 50m and each mech @ 2 (he later split balli in one city, pults in the other). This was chaotic, because I found myself in a position with break gates wearing down but the need to bring more heroes in pressing. I had 2 days earlier brought in 20 unleveled mech heroes on that account after an encounter with LORDBAZ, Dacia.. that cost me 14 bloody good ones and 4.5million each mech. I have 3 reports only from the Baz battle that will be below). Anyway, he gave me time (ended up being 30-35mins) to level 12 or 13 heroes from scratch by hand. I can safely declare I was not prepared in the beginning to deal with him).

And so with my 2 cities, I sent 4 mech waves thickly layered in anticipation of trap defence and 14 or so RSBs (99990 scouts/10 cav). My timing had better days, I think it was server lag or my internet connection that troubled it. That was the first set, the second I sent 2 mech waves in case he'd bring rams in and 13-16 RSBs (idk how many heroes I lost then. Only sent them with good ones). Next 2 sets followed the same format. In the 5th, I attacked both cities at once thinking I could catch the layers but he moved them out. I didn't know since he kept gates open so I couldn't scout.) I sent a 6th, and if it wasn't the last one, then an unsuccessfull 7th. By that time 3 hours passed, it was 2:30am and it was time to call it quits. Over that time, I kept losing heroes :l I killed a decent amount, yet we lost the same amount of troops after heal roughly due to my failed mech waves at the very beginning.

The only nice reports were the phract smacks, and some RSBs killing ~20k pults. I deleted them all.

Things for me to improve on; be bloody prepared for SDMF hero wise, remember to actually sent 125k troops when one city was haunted and be sure to use more FH filler waves.

SDMF is by far the most skillful red the The_Just has. No offence to any other Dacia, 411/USARMY. Drip feeding-in layers, and impeccable timing on his behalf frustrated my efforts. To put it bluntly, I haven't ever fought a player like him. This was a rewarding experience, and incredibly fun & fulfilling. It is also a shining example to 411 specifically how reds can fight and share laughs and chat at the same time. We stopped the battle knowing it would have taken hours for me to water down 4m mech. lol.

I only saved three reports out of my encounter with Baz, someone with whom I also have tremendous respect for.

That day, I ported by the ASGARD hub to descout Putti from 8 miles away in retribution for what he did to a Miramar player, AJM. To shorten a long story, I descouted 14m before LORDBAZ ported by to take pressure away from the hub (Putti/ASGARD were then 3 (?) day old Dacians. They joined their team as we began our The_Just Vs Dacia war).

It was a great battle. Ive not seen one that evenly matched for quite some time. I know SDMF had issues working out the Rein times with FF but he improved as the battle went on. (1 min camp + 34 second march time for pults was about 54 seconds actual march time. 2 min was like 1 min 27. In order to do the first waves he used 10 min camp time to get 4 min actual camp time after FF. Very confusing to work out on the fly.)

Its been a while since Ive seen Baz's war city. Hes certainly bulked it lol, it also looks like you helped ease his burn a little. There was a time when SDMF was one of the biggest in Dacia, Now hes just another war city among giants lmao.

Yes. SDMF had mechs on route to you before you warported the 2 miles to get closer to me, So as he recalled them, he war ported in a second city and begun the job of moving out all those layers. Those last rams were the only layer i couldn't save (apart from the cavs i lost to phract waves because i didn't notice you hitting both citys at once with those phract waves, let alone the gate break on the layer city. - Of 3.5m cavs SDMF healed like 390k :/ )

im thinking SDMF is going to have to step up his troop building game. Of the war cities ive seen from TJ thus far, hes actually fallen behind. There was a time where SDMF was a genuine threat offensively to every account on the server, Bar ET's ridiculous archer counts.

Now hes probably resigned to medium sized or less, while poor little ssf is downright anorexic compared to some of yall :P

Haven't posted in awhile, no real epic kills to show, but some not bad ones today. Thought id post as these guys were talking about fights in the latest server war that has started on our server.(ss38) And have some from today against ssfgrgawers team-mate Apogee. Ported on his second biggest city- He has a 105 miilion archer CD city but saw this one and couldn't resist and couldnt be bothered trying to plough through that many archers against an intel hero. Sent 10 waves at him and cleared him on the 10th. I believe it was just his bot, but a sitter appeared shortly after the city was wiped, i literally did nothing for 30 mins after i wiped it though, was on the phone while slowly looking at the reports.

I suspect the bolded part is the case, since you were so far out and i was hand timing it was gonna take like 12 min. I don't think it would blink until around the 8 min mark. Thats why i never pushed for points, after all you moved closer, made my job easier

@the war updates thread - It might work, problem is next to no one visits that section of the forums anymore hell you just gotta look at this thread to see how few watch battle reports, probably the most popular section on the forums. The olny place that gets more views is the official announcements, and occasionally General discussion when folks are complaining about something.

You can get them by opening the Punxa's Chest from the recent promo. Also if you didnt open your warchests they are still in them and yopu can open them and use the banners, however any banners you get from the War Chests are removed from your inventory during maintenance, so if you have any extra unopened War Chests you get 5 banners
