The War Of The Old Gods - SS38 Battle Reports Thread.

Greetings and welcome to yet another battle reports thread. The purpose of this thread is to bring a little life to the forums and give my Fellow SS38ers a place to post their hits. This is a continuation of this thread: http://bbs.evony.com/showthread.php?...8plus-more!%29

It was started a new to be a battle reports thread for my whole server instead of just for me.

As it currently stands, SS38 is engaged in a 3 way war, between the servers remaining major alliances - Dacia, The Just, USARMY_6 and 411. USARMY and 411 are on the same team, creating this three way battle we have.

heres a little backstory behind our major teams. other posters can feel free to correct my history as i don't know every alliance that became the ones we know today.

Firstly Dacia - Former Server 6 alliance that has merged and adapted over the years to incorporate other server 6 alliances (Chill, Phantom, Virulent/The Vee family, Misc, Tercio, and many many more.) As well as some fresh Blood from servers 4 and 5, most notably the addition of the Entropy Team sometime a few years ago. Once known for its resilience and sheer determination to survive, Fighting the entire server practically without help at one point, Dacia is no longer as active as it once was and it shows. However they are still notoriously hard to keep down, and are always happy for a scrap. Still a lot of solid players with even stronger war citys then before. Can easily be a threat again.

The_Just - Originally a powerhouse from Server 5, The Just is now made up of whats left of the Original Server 5 TJ team, Along with a number of players from of the former **** (Server 4), and a number of former Imperium (Server 6) and im sure a few others along the way. Chock full of powerhouse names that are both well know to these forums and Evony history, The Justies are the biggest offensive presence on the server, due to their great levels of activity, combined with an above average skill level of its attackers and defenders.

USARMY_6 - Haling from Server 5, USARMY were for quite a long time the under dogs of the server. Generally carrying less then the big guns Dacia/The_Just and Crucifix, They sided with Crucifix long ago and that relationship has remained intact through the years. Later on they took in the remaining active members of "Rohan" who i believe were originally server 4 or 5 in origin. They have proven in recent years they are just as resilient as anyone else still on the server and have become quite an effective defensive team, with a number of solid hitters under their command. They have become more active then ever since the end of Dacia/The_Just Coalition.

411 - Another Server 5 alliance, 411 was born after the Great Hub Busting of 2014? The once powerhouse Crucifix crumbled due to inactivity, Players quitting, Ghosting problems and overwhelming odds as both The Just and Dacia were pitted against Crucifix in a 2V1 war with USARMY as their only ally, who at that stage were not much of an offensive presence so to speak. 411 is the reformed Crucifix, Dropping a lot of inactives and reforging the steel of 411 under the command of their most active fighters - Dayenna, Kaylas, Blacksiege, Mighty and Zenobia, among others who had the resilience to withstand years of punishment and keep at it. Ever since the Dacia/TJ war resumed they have had a bit more breathing room and are becoming more active on the battlefields again.

After a few years of The_Just and Dacia teaming up to fight Crucifix/411/USARMY coalition, we decided in an effort to extend the life of the server to end our peace and return to the war with The Just.

But all jokes aside, The war has been fairly one sided thus far. The Just have laid a constant beat down on Dacia and 411/USARMY have had time to rebuild and get back out on the field again. If Dacia was a pokemon - it would be Regigigas. Why? I dont know pokemon and i think your an idiot for comparing pokemon to Evony?

Well its very simple - Regigias for those who don't know their Pokemon, is a very powerful Pokemon. SO powerful they had to limit him with his ability, Which is Slow Start - For a few turns Regigigas works at half speed and half power. Dacia is very much the same as this. We are all old and set in our ways, Porting was something we did when we got bored, not something we did just for the sake of it, just because a competition is running. Sometimes we taken by a want to port and we will. We have been this way ever since we stopped being the number one target of the server. When we went random porting, we wouldnt find many foes at all due to less reds and as such we became complacent, I myself know that i too became complacent. However we thrive on pressure. give us the chance to strike first, we probally wont take it. but give us a hard time and eventually we get our **** together. We are Dacia. This is what we do, and i wouldnt count us out just yet.

This thread is for all of SS38 to post reports. I know at least Dej, Kiki and Hurley will visit, as well as myself, but id like to see some other reds/blues posting reports too. If you gottem show em!

Good start to this thread, I would like to think of 411 as the nomads of this server. To class them under any one alliance would be hard to do. Slowly whittled down we are the ones who will always be the ones who join up to fight The_Just alliance and it's allies. To say TJ was the powerhouse of Serv5 would also be wrong (not to go into great detail) but they are the ones who got the rest of the server to take down the powerhouses of ser5 with them. To say I was Crucifix or Nemesis1 is hard but to say I was in those alliances then yes. You have to feel like you're part of the alliance to truly help and benefit from that group. I can't speak for the rest that has followed from 411 to US_Army but just feels like home again and has given my game a little zest that was missing......so you can call it just US_Army for me. I know I'll see my name in here many times on the wrong side of the reports but time to have some fun and rattle some TJs.....

Since I have Blackhands sharing my our hub, I thought it best to get a spot in the The_JUST hub.....oh wait...TJs don't hub

He said a powerhouse of the server, not the only one. If I were to rank the Server 5 powehouse teams in strength immediately after the merger it'd go Asmodeus, TJ, Crux(though they were split in two teams) and Entropy/Mayhem. Of course my opinion is biased on that. And like all teams, the strength of them waxes and wanes, TJ has the fortune of aggressive players and very active management but it's a server 5 team in name only, it's very much SS38.

Who said we didn't hub? lol. But objectively, that's not an especially large one for the server.

Good information! i did mention in my post that i didnt know about life on Servers 4 and 5 before the merger, but as Kiki mentioned i noted TJ as "A powerhouse" Not "The" lol there were many that came from S5.

Also that picture is tiny, what did you take it with? a microscope? :P


Welcome to the thread. Im hoping we will see everyone in here on both sides of the fence, Wiper of citys and on the receiving end too. Thats a sign of a good war.

Im giving bomb time to make a post here himself. I suspect he views these mortal forums. Kinda defeats the point of this thread if I post everything. The idea is to get more people using these forums and thread in general however if he doesnt post reports i will do so at a later date.

Haven't fought in days, ported over by Goldberg. Unfortunate auto truce, then unfortunate brucelee by his hub in Tuscany.

I was hitting from 5 or so miles away, 11mins a wave. I honestly thought it would get a sitter so didn't; 1) bring in a second or third cities 2) bring in a city to spam FH with. If I handled this properly, he would have been wiped within 3 sets if not less. My 6th set, perhaps final ideally, got bounced by gates when BG wore off.

Does anyone know why i didn't get the reports?

I should note this is the second time I've gotten a 73% clear for a war city - 1st being Vanderbult's in the sister thread preceding this one. We need to get 75% or more to earn 15 points for our server competition.. it is..ugh.. annoying, and should bring a smile by ssf's face lol.

@ ssf, Rohan was an alliance formed after merger but by server 4 players almost completely. Ex-NAFTA.

@ Siege, we have 1 hub and Harley's & my 'nest.' Put together they are nothing compared to the 4 major hubs of the server, one of which is yours. lol.

The hits on SDMF ;(

The backstory - Bombastic managed to get into Dacia's main hub, much to our annoyance. SO SDMF moved close by to pester him whenever the opportunity arises. This means bomb spends a lot of time in hols and only comes out when he thinks he's safe to do so. Bomb isn't in an alliance so we cant throw debuffs on him (Something that needs to be patched, since he throws them on us when we hit him lol) and he is a good enough defender to make dislodging him hard, especially when we are trying to fight Tj at the same time, hes just more of a thorn in our side.

He has proven a few times that he is an effective attacker, and this is more proof of that, Hes the first person to ever catch SDMF with his pants down completely offline, and wipe one of SDMF's War cities.
