Default Multiplayer Action in the Elder Scrolls Series

Has anyone ever thought that Bethesda should put out a mod of some sort to allow multiplayer LAN and online gaming for their Elder Scrolls games? Put like a max of 8-10 people in a game, and I don't think I'd be bored of Morrowind or Oblivion for some time...

Yes, this is worth its own topic

And don't you dare say "it's what makes these games unique"? BULL BLEEPITY BLEEP!

I can make a game that lacks a story. Does not make it unique...

putting in multiplayer into TES V would not carry over the same gameplay that people have come to expect out of the game, mostly that it has a definitive storyline. it is definitely NOT unique, KOTOR is another perfectly good example.

i do believe that there should be a seperate TES game which is a mmorpg. this would be on a much more massive scale than all the other games, and would not have as much of a storyline like the current TES games.

I'd just love the option to have it in there. I love exploring, and its more fun with friends.

well Karthis you would glad to know that Bethesda Softworks (a ZeniMax Media Company) does now have an online game making diversion. Online Elder Scrolls is a definite possibility, let alone if they make TES 5 the MMO.

we'd have heard about that if they did. that would need testing first, so i highly doubt.

I don't need a whole new storyline or anything. All I want is to be able to bring in a friend to play with. Go around and complete quests together.

hmmm, theres something like that for Oblivion, its a fan mod for the PC game but it only adds a avatar of your buddy in the game that goes around and does what he does, its not actually your friend in your game.

I know, but I'd like an actual multiplayer mod.

I even got one for Morrowind, but its bugged and works with the avatar thing as well.
