I was wondering is it just lvl 7 walls, or is it lvl 7 walls and town hall, or is it just either one or the other.

Town Hall lvl7 will make it look like a small castle, Town Hall lvl10 like a big castle..
The level of the walls doesn't matter for it's looks on the map+Rep me if I was helpfull, correct me if I wasn't, msg me if you want to

It's based on town hall level
Level 7 town hall will give you a fort.
Level 10 town hall will give you a city.
Walls only change your appearance when you view your town, the city and map view is based on town hall.

yes the above posts are correct but to get anything to lvl 10 u need michelangelo's script, everytime u upgrade anything to lvl 10!

For inside view you need to upgrade the walls to level 10.
