Absolutely not. Even someone with 10 (or less!) posts can have an uber sig.
Just request one here and wait for someone to come along, or go to one of the many Sig Shops outside that offer awesome sigs.

Hi, I'm having a problem with my sig, I uploaded it to my profile from my pc, it's a .gif at 36 kb, I clicked the "insert signature picture" and it shows in the preview at the top of the screen but it still isn't showing on my first ever post but I notice it shows here. Any ideas what I might have done wrong? any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I have fixed my problem, I never noticed the check box to show signature when I create a post.

Incase anybody needs to know, the signature needs to be no more then 450 pixels wide by 150 pixels high, with a maximum size of 75 kb, If you want transparency in your sig then you would need to save it as a .gif file, I'm not sure if .png would show as png files are higher quality resulting in a larger file size. The sig below was a .png at 110 kb, now it is a .gif at 36 kb
