Greatest U.S President

well since my last "whos greatest" thread has run it's course, i thought it was time for a new one and this time i have more options available so please choose between the following 10. I would like to point out i have no intent to make this a discussion a political discussion. i simply started this to debate on who is a greater president, whether or not mods agree with me whatever they decide i will accept it. i will say however that if any political debate is brought into this i ask that it be immediately removed.

Ronald Regan (Republican)
Abraham Lincon (Republican)
George Washington (no party) (yes i said no party, while he agreed more with the federalists, he absolutely hated the idea of having political parties)
John Adams (Federalist)
John F. Kennedy (Democrat)
Franklin Roosevelt (Democrat)
Thedore Roosevelt (Republican)
Thomas Jefferson (Democratic-Republican)
James Madison (Democratic-Republican)
Andrew Jackson (Democrat)

There were two horribly bad presidents in the history of american presidents and they were both called Bush..

I think there should be a poll which Bush was the worst ever president, the one who couldn't spell (is that the same as the one who nearly died on a pretzel?)... Or the one who kept Saddam Hussein in Iraq...

Quite ironic actually, Dad kept Hussein IN, Son wanted him out....

I think this has gone a bit too far, though I see some good points from both sides. I think it's time to stop the political debate before bans/suspensions are issued. It's not worth it and I don't want to see intelligent people banned for expressing their opinions.

I am very calm. It's even something that isn't new. I've said this many times before.

But it's turning into a political debate, which is exactly what I wanted it to be.

Actually I don't think (Note that I said THINK, I don't really care about the history of the man so I don't really know) the first Bush was all that bad. And in respect as to which President was the worst, I believe the one that caused the Great Depression would take that award, I just can't remember which President that was (I think Hoover)

That's just liberal bs. Granted, Bush screwed up a whole lot of stuff, but you can't blame him for stuff like that. America started messing around with the Middle East back when he was a toddler. Ever heard of Israel? Back in 1948, we basically took a whole lot of land from Muslim nations and gave it to Jews simply because they had lived there thousands of years ago. Which the people who owned it weren't exactly thrilled about. So, not only did we create and support up to the present day a nation that has killed thousands of Muslims from several nations, but we've staged coups, supported revolutions, deposed leaders, and all to get oil or even just satisfy our idiotic sense of self-importance.

9/11 would have happened no matter who was sitting in the White House.

Theodore Roosevelt had the best policy. Although Washington was a great president, I think that Teddy was a much better version of him.


"Speak softly but carry a big stick" was his policy, both domestic and foreign. Also, he was honest, and was wise enough to decline his campaign for a third presidential campaign although asked by many to do so.

He was one of the best Presidents this nation could possibly produce. He had experience in many things from war to law to politics (having taken law, been a politician AND a soldier, fighting in the Spanish-American War eith his "Rough Riders.")

He was as honest a President as I could hope for, and now you have me hoping a clone of his serves as our President one of these days.

If only our latest presidents acted that way CONSISTENTLY, we would be a far more prosperous nation today.
