Orcas never hunted humans in the wild. I would also dispute lumping them in with all other wild animals. They are intelligent, organised, top line predators. They communicate, have a social order and hunt co-operatively. In their enviroment they could be said to be the dominant species. They just don't over-populate and rape their enviroment the way we humans do.

I guess it takes a certain amount of intelligence to be able to recognize intelligence in other species. These are creatures that roam the oceans of the world. No aquarium could ever be large enough.

I wouldn't say humans and animals are equal in many respects, I do believe they have as much as a right to life as humans do. That is why, as Axer so eloquently pointed out, the whale will live better in captivity
