I just logged into it first try..... try refreshing, try clearing your flash cache, double check your firewall for blocked traffic at the same time you tried logging in, try not being a pc noob.

I followed the instructions in the link you posted. In fact I did it TWICE. But to no avail.
I just can't understand: if it's a problem with my computer, why does the problem seem to affect other players as well? I even changed computers, remember? So you say both computers have corrupted cache or flash files? At the same time and day?
Or maybe you can explain this note by IE 8:
"This error (HTTP 404 Not Found) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but the page you wanted was not found. It's possible that the webpage is temporarily unavailable. Alternatively, the website might have changed or removed the webpage."
I'm sure there is something corrupted somewhere, but it ain't in my computer :D
And I am also wondering why you guys at evony keep on pointing to my connection as a possible source of problem. I can post on the forum, for heaven's sake!!! Thus, my connection is fine and working! Is that too hard to comprehend?
Files can become corrupted when a new client is uploaded (which happens frequently), when a connection is interrupted, or a browser crashes. I don't see how the issue could be on the server end when the vast majority of users are able to connect without trouble.
There are a variety of connection issues which can prevent players from connecting to the game server, but allow them to connect to websites, because the website uses a different port from the game. We are not saying it is the case, we are saying it is possible that it is the case.Quote:

Again, we can't provide troubleshooting for your computer, so you can choose to discard any of our advice at your own discretion. We only provide it as a courtesy to you. What I can tell you is that the servers are online and accepting connections and that they have about the same amount of players as usual.
would you care to tell me then which port the game is using? maybe it's been blocked somewhere?
That is what I am getting after the first log in screen on SS5. Evony was laggy before and restarted twice on it's own before that.
Every time this happens, someone is sure to answer "all the servers are fine right now".
And i LOVE the "Are you sure you have an internet connection?" lol :)
Server 85 is back apparently. However.... that doesn't negate the refuge reports that were just waiting to surprise me when I was finally able to log in.

I will NOT be reaching for the bank card at all in the future for this outfit. Is it out of the realm of possibility to expect whatever you pay for to be working?
