It seems that currently you MUST have casualties in order to gain medals... I was wondering why I got pretty much no medals for any of my attacks... reason: I didn't lose any troops each attack, I was smart with what to build... but I ended up with monsterously high prestige for what I have in army, no honor and no medals... Then I attacked a level 2 NPC city (this is only day 4 of me playing this game, I got bored of protection so I leveled my town hall to level 5 to get rid of it) and lost most of my troops, but wiped the NPC defenses out... and behold I got a stupidity medal (cough, courage, cough).... I go "wooow that's kinda silly, I mean I'd have to LOSE troops and have casualties to earn medals??? that means I have to lose to level 1-3 valleys ... that's like DISHONORABLE for me ... I usually suffer no losses fighting that kind of caliber stuff... "
I realize that the function of making it hard to get medals if players win without casualties is a measure against farming low level valleys to get medals using far superior forces, but this is making it hard for players like myself who have good strategy and who don't lose troops really hard to get medals... (I use archers with fodder... so no losses... or if I lose anything I lose like 1 swordman fodder, oh no's)
I strongly suggest changing the medals system into taking into account the player's actual title standing... getting a crap load of courage medals (I have 5) is silly when I need rose medals and cross medals to get to knight...
so for example if I'm a really pro player who exit out of protection on day 4 and don't lose troops when taking down level 5 valleys... I should get a rose medal or cross medal when I fight a level 2 NPC castle that do make me lose troops... OR make it so that if I have yet to attain the knight title I should be able to get the cross and rose medals even if I am pro and don't lose anything to level 1-3 valleys... otherwise I'd have to be forced to make small groups of warriors and smash them into level 1 territories like an idiot until I got enough medals to be a knight... that'd be just sad... seriously inefficient use of production time, when I could be producing archers.
