Harriers are otherwise known as harrier jump jets no? so in a way its properly named :) Btw i may stop by and purchase one of these fine instruments after i get out of debt myself :)

It's a colloquial name, and can infact be applied to any turbine engined VTOL aircraft. Including a few helicopters, and new JSF.
