DEBATE: What is wisdom?

There seems to be a lot of repetition, but some very correct and some unique views.

Wisdom, in my opinion is best defined as the ability to take ones experiences, along with the experiences of others and apply them to a googolplex of other scenarios, such as offering advice and guidance when asked for and necessary, but most importantly, though some would find this selfish, I find wisdom to be ability to apply the knowledge gained to yourself to find what some might consider "Enlightenment".

That seems like such a vague and widely overused word though, so I prefer inner peace or peace of the mind at the very least. Life is a complexity of many elements and though we'll never fully comprehend it until we've made some vast evolutionary changes, wisdom is the ability to acknowledge and reach for that with what we have in this life, and if you believe in it, the next life.


Just my two cents though.
