Technically, it's not sleep, it's a different version of sleep, almost like a COMA, and like meditating. Though it's just...deeper than sleep. (Technique learned at young age, not many can induce it)

It's a dreamland, but she isn't asleep! She can think and...regenerate? :)

Full-blooded elves don't really sleep, do they? They enter some sort of restorative trance. So it makes sense that she'd be in a state of altered consciousness that isn't "sleep."

Well, a strong enough painkiller will knock out even an Elf...

Given the state of my character, Ardenian has plenty of these pills to use on his worst nights...his pain pills could knock out an elephant, or at least make one really REALLY happy...

Of course. I also know that while Laura's "apparant" age is similar to a 16-year old human, she's probably a lot older due to the fact that elves age much slower... though they develop slower so she'll think and act like a teenager for another decade perhaps...
