Why Scouts are worthless

This. I only keep scouts in farming cities actually.

I dont keep scouts in my farming cities at all. This way people cant tell if gates are open or not although Pro has the way to find this out

nuff said. those who believe scouts are worthless, keep believing that and keep getting owned. scouts rox. be it for urgent transport, bombing, npc farming (94k bow, 4k scouts blah blah) and yes for scouting :D.

at times when u have seige defending alone.. scout bombs are pretty useful killing defending pults. good luck if ya try to use bows against defending pults :p

they are cool for reinforcing too.. and at times.. jus reinforce a guy getting attacked with scouts and ur best hero etc and the attacker will get his pre hit scout wave owned thereby might think that there are more troops that are reinforcing iwth camp time so might as well withdraw :p

no unit is bad.. just the way u use em makes em good or bad. :p

Your making an assumption there, i've played with people that WOULD attack someone without scouting them... He got so sick of people sitting with their 300-400k scouts per city he gave up on scouting and learned to attack by looking at the experience gained to have some idea what his attacks where doing. He was teaching some of us to much the same.

Half the time he'd just throw 100k archers at them and get a report when they killed a bunch of foot or cav.

I just cop the bombs on my archers.


If you were to add up the honor to resource ratio loss, your better off just letting them hit a valuable weak target.

if scouts are worthless..why did evony put them in it..there is a reason scouts are there..

#2 what makes u think that 1 mill scouts in ur city are unstoppable??
i know ive done it b4 on some1 online and with more than that. yes it took a couple pple and timing but not difficult. But im sure lots of others have done the same.

#3 and Final point. u sir are the noob to believe that scout bombs are the "ONLY WAY" against massive troops.

only thing i do agree with u on is that scouts are not even close to worthless. i just disagree with ur noobish reasoning for coming to that conclusion.

You may still went to keep a few thousand scout in your cities. A few player will tested your city with one or ten scouts. With this being said, if a player send more ten thousand scouts he will probably attack you at some point. You better by ready and tell your alliances.
