Can someone write one please? I have the quest already and for the first time EVER the hero was there in the battle report, I won, but didn't capture him. :modedit: Is this a bug, or is there something more I need to do?

I have created zillions of guides before.
You cannot capture a hero by just having a slot in your feasting hall and winning a battle. Luck (as in the heroes loyalty) comes to the equation too.
When you lose a battle, there is a chance your hero will be captured.
It does not matter if you were the attacker or defender.
Conversely, this is the same formula for your chance to capture if you win a battle.
100 - LOY + 5 = Percentage chance of loss
A 100 Loyalty hero has a 5% chance of being cap'd.
Basically, once the hero loses, their loyalty is 95. That's why there's a 5% chance of losing them.
The formula is technically 100 - (LOY after fight) = % chance to capture.
If we're going to spend game coins for coordinates....the percent chance to capture should be 100%. We don't all have Adv Tele's to teleport in and spam waves.
I'm not sure I agree with being able to capture a hero with EVERY victorious battle. But, feel free to add that to the game suggestion forum. ;)Quote:

Surely conquering a flat should give you 100% chance to conquer the hero?
Even conquering the flat doesn't always net me the hero.
Most of the time it does, although I do not understand why the captive arrives at my town before the army is halfway back...

Just remember to reward all of your heros until their loyalty is 100. Check them everyday and keep them at 100
