Easy way to farm a levl 10 npc

There are many different ways to farm a levl 10 non-player city (npc). The method I use came from a friend on my server, SS6 (demons936). First, scout the npc for a low levl hero (usually 1-12)Send 2k workers + 2k warriors, 4k scouts, 90,100 archers, and 1,900 transports.The losses so far only average 5-6k archers and most of the rainbow. I used a 180 att hero for this, but i know someone who said he got the same losses with a 142 att hero. This is the most effective method i have ever tried and I'm going to use this from now on. Please tell me if this worked for you. Thanks.

Hi would like to know for hero attack level does it include hero level too or exclude hero level

exclueds hero levl, only the att has an effect on the losses

that method allows u to use low heros

The hero with the highest attack attribute should obviously be used first...use camp time with the other attacks after the first wave if you want to.

is that 90-100k archers or no?

this works depending on the distance. at some distances 1900 trans is not enough. i have used the same formula from 170A all the way up to my highest hero's. (between 170a and 200a you get unstable results you might loose 5k might loose 50k archers its random) over 200a is reliable with this formula.
i send 90k archers 2k workers 2k warriors 2k trans and 4k scouts.

Thanks - Have used ur approach for farming NPC10 and worked a treat. My first result in trying is 5584 archers lost and most of scouts using attack 185 versus attack 4. Will now start using this approach till something changes to affect it

Do you need a high level hero?

Another friend said they used a hero with 144 attack and only got 5k losses.

Ok, first off u will occasionally will have a huge loss when farming lv 10 npc.. it just happens, no obvious reason for it. I will say that using corselet and war horn will help w losses. Also there is no reason to scout prior to hitting a lv 10. I have had bigger losses on lower lv hero's than on high lv hero's. U have to think of it like your feasting hall. U may come across a great attk hero w a low lv and then another hero w a high lv will have crappy numbers. The same goes for farming npc's. Just my opinion.. Happy hunting! :)

ssz, im at a loss on your hit. I am thinking not enough meat in the rainbow to absorb the archer tower impact? you tripped all the traps, so im thinking that you lost a good deal of your archers to those before even getting within range to fire on the ATs

i have been using 1kwarr, 1ksword, 1kpike, 3kscout, 2ktrans, and 92karch

FYI Ladywolf... when I use a corselet, my waves suffer increased losses. Could be only an issue when you have higher level heroes, but I purposely avoid using corselet when farming now. I keep them for when at war with players who actually attack actives.

For ppl who have the below techs, this info might be helpful.

For those who have HBR 9, and Compass 9, the 2k work, 2k warr, 4k scouts will work even for heroes with ATT 150 or above. You will loose 6-7k archers average. I have heard some ppl say even at ATT 135-149, they only loose 7-8k archers average on a compass 9.

I personally used 1k work, 1k warr, 4k scouts, 92k archers, 2k trans at hbr 9 and compass 9 with hero ATT 155+ and above and always had 6-7k archer loss average. I NEVER had any occasional big jump in archer loss.

Then i changed to Compass 10 and HBR 9 as some in the forum are saying that the compass 10 issue now has a solution. I used 1k work, 1k warr, 4k scouts, 92k archers and 2k trans. Started getting 7k-10k archer loss. So i used the other combo, 2k work, 2k warr, 4k scouts, 90k archers and 2k trans. Archer loss went down to 7-8k.

Felt that i am ready for HBR 10 and so I have upgraded it. It is a few hours relative to the hours for upgrading to Compass 10 anyways.

However, i have found that the 2k work, 2k warr, 4k scouts, 90k archers and 2k trans work a lot of times but you occasinally have large losses -- I lost 50k archers 2 days in a row one time for my hero with ATT below 200.

So I did something different, for heroes below ATT 200, I use 3k work, 3k warr, 3k scouts, 89k archers and 2k trans. This has worked without fail. Compass 10 and HBR 10, of course.

To be really safe, use the last combo until your hero is 230+. Then you should not have any of the kinks of the 2k work/warr, 4k scouts, 90k archer and 2k trans.

Hope this helps. BTW, i farm 24 - 30 lvl10 npcs a day, if that suggests anything at all and it takes me approximately 1hr in the morning and another hour in the evening to farm for the day :)
