Warders

Well, thanks to Joe, I have to put this up early... *Glares*
Anyway, this is the Warders. This concept is based off of the Wheel of Time series, where there were certain warriors bound to mages to enhance their powers in battle.

What is a Warder?
A Warder is a warrior of great strength who is bound to an Aes Sedai (Wizard). They are the best of the best, using swords in combat to take down almost anything. They are revered amongst the people for their amazing powers in combat. This group if perfect for you if you want to be affiliated with the Wizard Mercenaries, but you are not into magic.

To become a Warder: Post here, then get the permission of a Wizard Mercenary to bind you. Once that happens, you're in.

Another thing - Wizard Mercenaries and Warders can post in each others threads as if they are a member of each group.

Of course! However, to become a full warder, you must find another Wizard Mercenary to be bound to. Ask around - someone might want to take you up :)

Well, back a few months ago, I believe I was Joe's "Warder" or Sassena, as I called it (Which I got from a book called Dark Mage, in which Sassena means "weapon" and who's sole purpose is to protect the mages.)

So, seniority wins, and I'm bound to Joe. You can go look back at Octobers posts in the Wizard Mercs thread if you want to confirm it.

This looks fun to read, but not get into.
I'm not much of a fan of something I have to commit alot of time to.

It was never really official. Lol. However, I could become Green Ajah and bound you too... BUT ONLY 2! I will not bind more than one!

So, you wanna become my 2nd Warder?

Ah, I see. However, me and Joe planned this out IRL for awhile now, and he said he would bind me. However, if you look below, you'll see Joe said that he'd become Green Ajah. One who is of the Green Ajah can have more than one Warder to protect them. I'd gladly share the position with you :)

Green? Eh, I always figured that you would be a Blue, or maybe a Brown. But hey, Green's the closest thing to Blue IMO :D

He's a Wizard though. Lol. He can leave the WM's if he wants, but he'll never be able to cast a spell again. Lol.

You'll lose the ability to do that too. Also, I suggest you stay. The tradition is that the Warder is the Male, while the Aes Sedai is female. Besides, Jurnis hasn't cast anything since he tried Shawawawaing. Lol.

I'm open for "binding", I 'spose. My awesome magic stuffs will be cool and such.

Most Warders wield a sword, as fine made as the heron marked swords made for blade masters, enchanted by Wizards themselves.
