Answer to OP: Justifiability is in the eye of the beholder, to the attackers, the war may be perfectly justifiable, to everyone else, hell no.
Examples of this could be Vietnam and Korea (To stop the spread of Communism). That reason, which may have been perfectly justifiable in the minds of the leaders of the US, isn't a good reason at all.
Henceforth, my answer is no. Also, the only other type of war that ~could~ be explained away is civil war, which was created to stop the oppression of a tyrannical government, but that wouldn't exactly meet the question that was being asked would it?
