Yea really, I've seen just simple arch rainbows killing 200k+ cavs lmao. If they're compact, warrior bombs ftw. Although to be honest, your probably only gonna knock out ~20k cavs per warrior bomb.
Insta-Warrior FTW (got them a couple days ago :D)

To be honest, everyone is talking about taking out the cav, with massive losses... Personally, I think if I teleported one of my war cities into hostile territory and they did some of these stunts, I would be thanking them. Ok, they killed the Cav, but at what cost? Means the next day when I build all my cav back in a few hours, I will have some fun pillaging some cities.
compact def generally includes heavy seige. yeah that means like 50k+ balis and around 5k+ pults and wiht a 700ish atk hero.. good luck to ur wariors. they wont be even able to see the colour of clothes of defending phracts. :-)
gratz on insta wariors but trust me.. they are not the best unit to attack with. :p
Yes this is a good plan...but if the attacker is smart like me, the cavs and phracts will not be in the ported war city until they are ready to attack...meaning you attacking blind is a waste of time. 100k war waves will do little more then wipe out some traps if there aren't any horsies in the city
Pults can destroy your compact defense. DO NOT HAVE PULTS IN A COMPACT DEFENSE.
Also, your point is half-invalid. Ballistas/pults/archers won't even attack the warriors. Fastest unit starts first. Cavs run up to the warriors in 1 round (W/pults), so in that case, with sufficient amount of cavs, warriors are KOed in 1 round. Ballistas/archers/others don't even get a chance to shoot at the warriors.
You too..
I feel like I think too much about this game's mechanics.
*Sigh* and you try to criticize ME? Yes I do understand combat mechanics and compact D. Do you?
Cav has a move of 1000 (1500 with HBR 10) so how is it that they get to the warriors in one turn?????? Even without pults or ballista in the compact D the cav will NOT get to the warriors befor the defending ranged units are in range.
I will not get into a war of words with you but you obviously do not know as much as you think you do.
Cavs have 100 range.
With ballista, defending warriors are at 1600.
Cavs move to 1500, hitting enemy warriors.
Of course note that with this fact, it's possible for attacking cavalries to reach the defending in 1 round.
Although I have tested it a few times, seems like defending cavs move first.
