Earth Day

well.... now that i know tomorrow's earth day, ill make sure i say "happy earth day" to at least one person!!

I don't drive a car. I walk to and from my dorm to campus most of the time, except when either I am seriously tired, or my legs are cramping...


Other than that, most of the CO2 that I emit is organic...

I also regularly emit methane and various trace gases, but those are for a different, and...uh....more discreet thread...:D

It strikes me as extremely pathetic that environmentalists see it as a victory to have just one day per year set aside for 'green' activities. Maybe they should be working on the other 364 instead of the one they've already got?

I have never understood the purpose of Earth Day. It's basically useless.
