They do. This is a day to help people that don't usually help out, Realize that taking care of the environment is a very important thing.
When there is a day actually marked, It encourages people to do more.

It's the same as mother's, father's, and grandparent's days.

Shouldn't you celebrate your family everyday?

Yep. Its kind of like Thanksgiving. Give thankfulness its own holiday because Americans are too :modedit:ing lazy and selfish to care the other 364 days of the year. Only, it never works.

Umm, I said "Americans" because Thanksgiving, or at least our version, is only celebrated in America. Should I have listed every single holiday ever created for that purpose?

Even though on that specific date, its celebrated in America, there are tons of other countries with holidays similar to that purpose.

Yeah, I'll celebrate Earth Day by setting the local forest on fire and dumping radioactive waste into the water table.

I walked my dog and he gave food to the grass....

Morning of Earth Day now ... lol.

I'll probably uhh ... go vegan today *tries not to gag* ... and try not to drive my car the whole day, but walk for errands instead (or ride my bike, w/e) ...






But I can always join the dark side and set a few forest fires, buy things that have CFCs ... and consume fossil fuels by the bulk. :devil:
