That is Cerberus, is it not?
I don't know why it makes an appearance in a Christian hell (Which is what Dante's Inferno [The Epic Poem, not the game] is about, which is what you were quoting if I'm not mistaken.), seeing as its first appearance at all was in the Greek underworld.
