[Easy Guide] How To Farm Level 10 NPCS with 9+ Medicine - 9+ IW - 9+ Compass

Ok, i've seen quite a lot of guides so I decided to include my own :)

For best results, I recommend sending 2 waves of 5000 warriors atleast 15 seconds before main attack hits, the closer the better!

Below is a demonstration of what the 2 waves should look like (make sure hero is above 80 attack for better results)

These warrior waves will clear defences, which in turn will decrease archer losses!


With level 9 compass, level 9 medicine and level 9 IronWorking I was able to achieve 8.2k archer losses with a level 62 hero...
I achieved this by activating IvoryHorn & Penicillin and sending the following troops...

1000 Warriors
1000 Scouts
1000 Pikeman
1000 Swordsman
93000 Archers
3000 Transporters (you will only need 2000 with level 9 logistics)

To lower these losses, I simply levelled up my hero with this technique and tested several different battle formations, below is some of the formations I have used and the results!

With level 9 Compass, Medicine and IronWorking you will achieve 7.2k Archer losses
| 2k WARRIORS | 2K WORKERS | 3970 SCOUTS | 90K ARCHERS | 10PIKE+CAV+SWORD | 2K TRANSPORTERS |
With level 9 Compass, Medicine and IronWorking you will achieve 7k Archer Losses.

Try and play around with the battle formations and include as much troops as you can!

Please ignore the fact that I sent 115000 archers, this only decreases losses by a little bit.



NOTE: ALWAYS SCOUT THE NPC BEFORE YOU ATTACK IT! TRY TO FIND A HERO BELOW LEVEL 3!


PS. My lowest archer loss so far is 4.7k after heal ( with compass 9 )

Although i don't agree with scouting for low lvl heroes.

My friend doesn't scout for low heros and he gets 7.2k archer losses with the same formation and his hero has 200+ attack..

If you have a strong hero and compass 10 + a high troop building rate, you don't need to scout but I recommend scouting for beginners (with low techs)

My first attack here. I didn't bother scouting. My Attack was only 135, and only lvl 8 Compass at the moment. Great guide, thanks!

What was the level of your other tech? Archery, HBR, and MT?

10 Archery, 9 HBR, 10 MT, 9 Medicine.

That was a level 29 NPC. The next one was level 50 and I took 13k losses... lol.

If you scout for a level 1-3.. you will recieve under 6k losses :)

Do both battles have the same amount of rounds?

seriously 6k losses with 115k arch is really bad....
and on your other hits they had way too much layering....
i send 1kwarr 1kwork 2kscout 94karch 2ktrans
and with no boosts and a hero with the attack 228 i get

I send 2 clearing waves of 5k warriors to minimise archer loss 3-7 seconds before main attack hit:p

Let me just confirm, you have Compass level 9 while attacking this npc right?

This is a guide directed strictly at people with less than lvl 10 techs... which is why you will pick up losses a little higher. :dizzy:

yes i have lev 9 compass but when i started lev 10 npc hiting i had lev 9 and personally i didnt see to it having a big difference

You can't achieve less than a 5k loss without level 10 compass, unless you're sending 4+ waves of meat beforehand.

You can ask hit yourself, level 10 compass dramatically decreases archer losses...

And also, please keep the "hey come to my thread" thing to a minimum

I have seen many people complain that lvl 10 compass increasing their losses, and having to use a different mix to attack with. I think also with lvl 9 compass, you can succeed with a lower attack hero, allowing you to begin training a high attack hero sooner.

I never got the chance to try an NPC 10 with lvl 9 compass, but I have great success with lvl 10 compass. I average below 5k archer losses, so the mix helps a lot. A few hits on NPC 10's will get that attack hero leveled up fast, so as you go up, your losses will get consistently lower.

I have actually had several alliance members confirm... Compass 9 doesnt require a minimum hero level and it brings 7-9k archer losses...

With Compass 10, your hero needs to be above 200 attack, and you are able to achieve 3-5k archer losses.

That's the truth, and I hope WN1_Hit would come and confirm this...



Also, i'm not making an excuse or saying my guide is the best but it's useful for people who dont have compass 10 or a hero above 200 attack...
WN1_Hits guide is perfect, except he focuses on when techs are level 10.


That is all
