Medal hunting: Attacking archer-valleys up to lvl9 with no losses

Hey everyone, this will be my first post here, so it might as well be a good one.

Most people refrain from attacking valleys with archers in it because they produce losses. While this is mostly true. If you follow my Guide, you can escape

from these valleys with 0 losses.

The important factors are Archery and Compass.
Level X Valleys will have level X Techs, e.g.
Level 7 Valleys have all techs at level 7.

The following combinations set your army to attack 1 round before enemy archers hit.
This applies to Pure Archer attacks only, if you attack it with a rainbow or any other combination, you will still have losses.

So the best thing to do if you really want to hunt level 9 valleys, is to keep your compass at 3 or lower until you reach this stage.

Or simply send cav vs archers + 1 scout = 0 losses + faster

ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. I send the same number of cav as archers defending plus 1 scout. I lose the scout.

what about arch + cav or arch + mele troop type valley?

how long did u spend working on this man? my god-did no one tell you that cav stomp archers? i thought u had a way to take MIXED arch-

Hm, i dont know how you figured this. Did you test any of it?

You do know that archers dont move if a targets in range right?
And that starting range (if troop with max range is archers) is 1400.

ha ha... This post is for those who doesnt even want to lose a scout.... or dont have resources to train calvary...

It might work but its a waste of life.

Still stick to calvary plus 1 scout technique... as I can affort to lose the scout.

"Pure archer attacks".

That means attacking with only archers - it does not mean that there are only archers in the valley.

Attacking level 9 valleys is said to be the best medal hunting strategy. So conceivably keeping Compass at three is feasible. But it is a considerable disdvantage - not least because you would be unable to farm npc level 5s at the optimum Archer/Compass combinations.
