I very rarely swear on these Forums, and I try not to flame--I don't want to flame, and it always turns out very violently if I am brought to that alley...

hmm no one has said it so.
I curse because I can ...
that simple
My dictionary doesnt know the right words and then the curse words always seem to fit in :(
Why I swear -->
1.) if someone suddenly scares me from behind.
2.) If I slip on a tile because it is wet, I would say it "accidently", as I got a shock.
3.) And when I'm trying to describe something at home, and cannot find a latter word for it. But usually, these days, I use better words to replace these bad habits.
I never curse at school, not in front of my friends, as most are girls, and we keep ourselves from the group who are "contaminated"....
I would NEVER swear on the forums, but if I would, I'd use this lil' smiley: :modedit:
/end speech.
understand the origins of each of the bad words and you will find an answer to why we cuss (not curse)
A curse is an incantation or wish of harm on another person ie. i hope you die
The colorful words we use were not always the negative things we know them to be
I disagree... not all curses are directed a people, or wish them harm. Cursing has become bigger than that... we do it when in pain, when we hate someone, when we joke around, and when we describe something. Curses have developed alternate meanings too. We find more and more uses for them as they become more natural.
My parents never minded me cursing, and occasionally a curse would slip out even at age 10 :p They only one they really minded was F**k... which I never let slip.
