I have a friend in Server 2 who has cancer and has just gotten to the point where he isn't able to log in everyday. His brother logs in to keep me updated on how he's doing. He has his good days and bad.
I would like everyone to please post your well wishes to him here. His name is Jeff. When there are enough posts, I'll send him the link of this thread.

Actually Revo, the thread can get multiple views from the same person. I think it is every 5 posts is a uniquie view on a refresh. Notice how the bar has .25 million views, but Evony has less posters than that.Quote:

It's nice to see people send good thoughts. Thank you for posting this, Raine. We need reminders that there are people with real problems in the world that deserve our empathy.
I would like to send your friend well wishes, also. In fact, I would like to say "get well, soon" to all people undergoing such treatments.

"Joining the bandwagon" never looked this well-worth-it.
But trust me, I wouldn't be caught dead with the select few who'd just peek in here, lift their noses and turn away ... because that would be just mighty insensitive and inhuman.
How ya feeling? However you are right now, I hope you're feeling better than yesterday.
And I hope that tomorrow, you'll feel even better than today.
A close friend of mine battled [and overcame] cancer when we were teens.
It was horrible. But you know what rocks?
Throughout that time he never ever said the words "I give up."
He said he'd fail on so many levels if he even thought of giving up.
Plus, I remember what his mom used to tell us ... that [the One higher than us mortals] never let someone go through a rough spot if He doesn't believe that that person can pull through it.
So even if what you're dealing with now is tough ... well, I believe you're a real stand-up guy for battling it out with a mean old bully like cancer.
Maybe not unscathed, but you'll make it, buddy.

i've had relatives with cancer. it has seemed to run in one side of the family.
Anyway, i want to wish you the best, and i know you'll be able to pull through it.
And, i cant make anything like ravenwings (+rep to him, that was awesome) but i share the same sentiments.

A few people I went to high school with had cancer. Even one of my teachers. Alot of them didn't die of the cancer, so never give up hope. There is always hope for a new tomorrow.
