There isn't really true. Skill plays a large part, no doubt. But chance (luck) plays a large part as well. For instance, if when you first start your city pops up next to some mean guy who does spend a lot of money. I know veterans from other servers who move to newer servers to start over again refuse to let anyone within X amount of miles of them and will zero them out every few hours. The game after the 1st week is so early you'll have little chance against anyone who has spent a good amount of money. Teleporting doesn't work because again, its just chance that you dont land next to someone even worse.
While a vast majority of the time skill plays the role in deciding how far you go in the game, chance (luck) can come up behind you and hit you down and keep you down. You arn't "playing" if everytime you wake up you come back to a zero poped city. Even without facebook exploit (all of FB is an exploit) people can amass large armies, the leading days out of BP if you see 10k archers coming at you, wat do?
Id usually be farming lvl 5s by bps end not to mention being in a supportive alliance. So i wouldnt be to worried about that. Skill is really the only deciding factor in any battle at the beginnings of a server. I started on a server 3 days after it came out. ended up next to a dude that was ranked 20th at the time. By Bps end i was zeroing him out instead of the other way around and i hadnt spent a penny
Does you really need to make a thread about this? Just leave and never come back.
would you ever walk into a church and exclaim to those attending, "I don't like this place cause they pass around a collection plate.".. even though you don't gave to drop money in it, and furthernore you don't even have to attend..
What's that???
You wouldn't do that because it's tacky and in bad taste...
Oh... so why are you coming on here posting this thread???
