:duh:
It's just too stupid to comprehend. I wouldn't even know where to begin. Someone else please handle this one...

You didn't answer the question Ski. Why are you being such a troll in a thread celebrating the END OF THE WAR???!!!!!!!
You support the German soldiers as much as the Allied? So do I; most of them weren't Jew-killing Nazis, they were just doing there jobs.
You mentioned that the USSR killed more people than Hitler did? Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that they helped us remove one of the world's most evil regimes. If Hitler's empire had been as large as Stalin's, I'm sure he would have killed just as many, maybe more.
The people supported the war in Germany because they felt that their previous government was weak, that Hitler was making their country stronger (which he was, up until he suddenly attacked Russia), and they were ****ed about the Versailles Treaty, which I admit was a bit unfair to them since they hadn't actually started WWI. They supported the war in France, Britian, and Russia because their own country was attacked; propaganda had nothing to do with it. Same with the US, except it was Japan (Germany declared war on us after we did the same to Japan). Notice that in every place except Germany (Japan wasn't in the European front, so we'll save that can of worms for V-J Day) the people wanted war AFTER they were attacked. If the governments had declared war before that, do you really think the people would have supported it?
Arm, you do realize SS was the most multicultural army at that time? 40% of the world supported Germany with troops, of all "races". only 20% supported the allied forces, which WERE the allied forces, and the rest was non-factioned.
Rofl funny thing that I try to create a thread that everyone could kinda like agree or appreciate yet never works even if almost.....=/
Excuse me, but do you have any idea what you're talking about? Going by size, Canada alone is probably larger than all of the Axis countries. And if you're going by population, it's still utter BS. America, the British Empire (which then included India, Canada, Australia, large swathes of Africa, etc.), the U.S.S.R, China, and France, to name the major players, had just a tad more people than the Axis countries.
Wait.. what? I'll try to figure out what you are trying to say. Feel free to tell me your message at any time by the way.

That was the whole purpose of the Pacific War/Theatre/Front. And what do you mean by "wealth of nations"?
4. Probably, as they intended to attack us first anyway.
5. Doubt that. They lacked the supplies and the forces. If Japan waited longer on the Pearl Harbor attack, the American Pacific fleet wouldn't have been devastated. That would be an even bigger advantage for the Americans.

As I said before, I am not trolling. I am expressing a different opinion. There is a pretty big difference.
Don't take this the wrong way but that is horrible logic. You don't say "I'll let the USSR slide on the whole murderous rampage since they defeated the Nazis." You don't accept a greater evil over a lesser evil. I for one preferred Hitler over Stalin. Hitler may have been just as deranged, but he knew how to unite a people. In the end, that's what a leader is for.
It's possible. I would doubt it though. The Holocaust focused on a certain group of people. He pretty much annihilated them all. Stalin on the other hand was more focused on his political enemies. Of course, if Hitler's empire was bigger, he would have had to kill more political enemies as well.
Propaganda was on both sides. It's what you use to keep hopes up during a war. You might have seen this poster before...

Don't go around thinking the Allies were so high and mighty. They had their own internment camps (I'll admit they were much better but the prisoners or Japanese, like the Jews, were innocents).
I'll agree with you on the point that the people supported the war after they attacked. They also supported the war when the concentration camps were found. Would they have supported the war if they weren't attacked? I honestly don't know but there comes a time when you realize that democracy isn't a real democracy (or in my case, a democratic republic) and that the government will do whatever it wants. Example: Any way after WWII.
I appreciate this thread. This is probably the most stimulating thread I have participated in since I joined. I'd prefer if people would make more of these threads as all the others bore me (except for the KD Comics, those are awesome). Whether or not people agree doesn't matter, it's whether or not you enjoyed doing what you did. I'll leave you with this quote.
"A man is not finished when he is defeated. He is finished when he quits."
