33 easy steps
You can rush through them and get a good start. Make sure you check Quests between every step
1. Build cottage (speed-up)
2. Upgrade cottage to level 2 (speed-up)
3. Build 1 farm, quarry, lumbermill, ironmine (speed-up)
4. Build Inn (speed-up)
5. Build Feasting Hall (speed-up)
6. Recruit hero from Inn
7. Appoint hero as mayor in Feasting Hall
8. Upgrade sawmill to level 2 (speed-up)
9. Go to Town Hall / Production and set overall to 100.
10. Go to Town Hall / Tax rate and set to 20%
11. Build Town Hall level 2 (use 2 beginner guideline)
12. Go to quests / Be an Evonian; Add to favorites.
13. Build a warehouse (use 1 beginner guideline)
-Demolish warehouse later, possibly research a couple levels of Stockpile for the extra capacity limit.
14. Click on someone's name in Beginner's chat and 'Write' him a mail.
15. Chat in beginner's chat.
16. Go to My Items / Chest and apply 1 Amulet.
17. Upgrade Iron Mine to level 2 (speed-up)
18. Upgrade Iron Mine to level 3 (use 1 beginner guideline)
19. Build Forge (speed-up)
20. Upgrade Forge to level 2 (wait for it to finish)
21. Build Workshop. (use 1 beginner guideline)
22. Upgrade Quarry to level 2 (speed-up)
23. Builds Wall (use 2 beginner guidelines)
24. Build Academy ( use 1 beginner guideline)
25. Build Embassy (use 1 beginner guideline)
26. Click on your portrait and change your flag
27. Go to My Items / Chest and open your Newbie's package
28. Build marketplace (use 1 beginner guideline)
29. Build 2x level 2 cottage + 1 level 1 cottage. (next to the lvl2 you already have)
-This should complete the rebuild quest. (1000 population limit) The system is sometimes slow with updating population. If you don't want to wait, relogin.
30. Upgrade Town Hall to level 3 (use 1 primary guideline)
-You should have enough resources for Step 30. If not, buy them from the market and speed up.
31. Go to the Shop / Chest tab / buy 1 amulet.
32. Go to My Items / Chest / open Package for Lords
33. Go to My Items / Chest / open Junior Medal Box.
What now?
A. DO NOT SPIN THE WHEEL!!! (Well actually, spin it one time, so you get the quest for spinning the wheel)
B. Save cents for buying an Iron Ore Box), you'll get 10 cents for completing the quest..
C. Save 10-20-30 cents for the folk hearsay hero quest. You will get information on a historical hero, and get your 10 cents back. You need to upgrade a hero and assign points first. Then refresh your Inn. Build Inn to level 5 sooner or later.
-Build a 2nd city as soon as possible. You cannot lose cities anymore!
-Specialize the resource fields in both towns. Go either both lumbertowns (my pick) or 1 lumbertown / 1 irontown. Lumbertown = build only lumbermills, leave 1 of each other field. Play the market to get the other resources.
-Link your account to facebook and follow this guide. Join an alliance to get allies on FaceBook. You can get 30 packages per day for visiting other people and 8 per day for getting visited. This is very important for starting up, because the resources are a huge boost for when you've just started.
-With your alliance members, send gifts to eachother. The best gift for Knights to send is Minor XP Package. Save these for when your heroes are high level. As Baronet, send a speed-up or the XP Package.
-Just follow the Routine Quests now. Don't rush with the hero quests early on. You'll get that prestige sooner or later anyway.
Tips
-Don't prestige boost. Rank and title do not affect prestige anymore (it used to), so just take that promotion. Build that 2nd city, don't be afraid to level up your Town Hall (this does affect prestige, so only do it when you have a good reason to level it up). Focus on power, not prestige.
Both prestige and honor are completely worthless. Don't make these a goal in any way.
