G -- I must say I am quite disappointed in you. The farming has removed your edge, gonna be hard to call you EVIL going forward.
Outside looking in (I have been very much apart from this server for a while) it would seem that everyone has come to terms with a war of attrition, neither side truly motivated to "wipe out" another squad like in the past. More respectful fighting (to a degree) and therefore there is no motivation as in the past for indies to band together.
Not that people don't fight, but heck Mercenary took 1000 valleys over 3 days -- that my friend is not a war, that's boredom in a truly refined state. The inner revolt I always figured would undo the UBA has yet to occur -- perhaps the indies should finally unify.
Can someone explain why that was always so difficult? Seems logical, but as soon as it starts everyone gets an ego about the whole thing (myself included in that catastrophe).
Standing in an ivory tower, hoping to pick raspberries from G's lawn...
