I know Flash and Apple do not get along, but were suggesting an app here not a way for it to be supported online. It doesn’t even have to be detailed it can be spreadsheet lay out. The problem is it looks like you have given up on age 1 as age 2 doesn’t need so much time spent on it which could make an iphone app unnecessary, but please don’t forget your loyal customers that are having to farm every minute of there available day. Where an app would make this so much easier.
The only problem with building an Evony app is that they'd have to recode the game entirely, which would take too much time and money to do, with little or no benefits gained from doing it.
I dont think thats true, having an app dosent just attract new user it keeps exsiting users form leaving due to too much time having t be spent on there computer (which means more money in sales of items, and purchasing of app). It would take time yes, it would cost money but not neccessarily making it. But testing it and releasing it could be time and cost consuming. However smaller companies are realasing apps with no loyal consumer base, with the public having little knowledge of there company or app. Evony have a good and loyal customer base, with a known brand name. It would be one of the most anticipated realeases of an app so far.
It wouldn't cost money to make it? What do you think Evony pays their programmers with, chocolate?
Ermmm i know evony have fixed developers and prgrammers that sit there earning a wage making and maintaing Evony and Evony 2. They pay them a salary, which mean yes there is a cost of time being spent on the app within there company but they wouldnt have to outsource barely anything besides testing of the app. Trust me, Man in the industry here.
