In terms of having a broad reaching sphere of influence, yes.

We already went through this like 3 pages ago.

But so does North Korea, and yet their people are starving, just because they have 'a broad sphere of influence' doesn't mean they are a super power.

Ahh but Brazil's land and people have great potential. They are very stable in there world position and it is because it is not viewed as a world power, that makes the country so powerful.

Also they provide the 3rd of the worlds coffee :p
