Abstract:
1. Considered apart from concrete existence: an abstract concept.
2. Not applied or practical; theoretical. See Synonyms at theoretical.
3. Difficult to understand; abstruse: abstract philosophical problems.
4. Thought of or stated without reference to a specific instance: abstract words like truth and justice.
5. Impersonal, as in attitude or views.
6. Having an intellectual and affective artistic content that depends solely on intrinsic form rather than on narrative content or pictorial representation
Angel
1. A typically benevolent celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth, especially in Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Zoroastrianism.
2. A representation of such a being, especially in Christianity, conventionally in the image of a human figure with a halo and wings.
3. angels Christianity The last of the nine orders of angels in medieval angelology. From the highest to the lowest in rank, the orders are: seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominations or dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels, and angels.
4. A guardian spirit or guiding influence.
I think Humility confused Angel with Victorias Nymphs.
I would take Abstract Angel to maybe be parts 6 of Abstract, 4 of Angel? Maybe this can be a new game somehow- connect the definitions.
And Humility, there is nothing wrong with a guy wanting to be a pretty pretty princess; in AgeII we get to put Bedazzled Sparklies on our Items. Like a Rennassaince Liberace
Connotation has only a weak connection to definition. Angels in popular culture are treated as holy, innocent and beautiful beings. The holy aspect however is usually portrayed as a myriad of things from self-righteousness to a strong moral code, and is sometimes omitted altogether and leaves no strong connotation on the word, leaving just innocent and beautiful.Quote:

Abstract has no effect on the connotation.
Sparkles alone aren't feminine, they also mean gay in the nonhomosexual sense. Like umm... pimps, pimps are gay in the archaic sense of the word. They dress flamboyantly. Flamboyance is not feminine, it is more associated with feminine then masculine because women are expected to be the ones drawing attention to themselves, but that doesn't make flamboyance feminine, its still neutral.Quote:

Also, ever heard of the uncanny valley? That is where a guy dressed like a princess lives.
And in no way is AA innocent.
Amirite?
I edited. I need to find a useful synonym to gay so I don't have to explain that again. Its a toss between Garish and Gaudy.
This thread is not about me.
Why did I waste my time reading it?
