If you are wondering how to go up a rank in this forum, it is entirely done by post count:

No Title = 0
Worker = 1-14
Warrior = 15-49
Scout = 50-99
Pikemen = 100-199
Swordsman = 200-349
Archer = 350-599
Cavalry = 600-999
Cataphract = 1000-1500
Lord = 1500+

You can post anywhere and the post will count. But please dont spam.

Forum Guide (Honorary title for extra helpful members, does not represent Evony in any way, has no forum authority beyond any regular member)
Forum Moderator (Volunteer, not paid, but has more experience and authority than Fourm Guide)
Senior Moderator (Volunteer, not paid, but has more experience and authority than Forum Moderator)
Evony Representative (Paid by Evony, has more authority than Moderators)

If Evony think they are worthy of being a Mod, they will ask you, but dont ask them!

A good way to become a moderator is to have Reputation (Not the stuff below) but real Reputation, you can do this by helping people, giving support and just being kind.

But remember, if you want to be a Mod, you would have to give up your free time and not get paid.

But dont let this put you off, being a mod is a good experince if you are a good one.


Reputation:

Reputation is what you give to someone if they have helped you or if you like what they said.

How to Rep:

Go to the post you found helpfull or like what they said, look on the post (Top right) There should be some silver scales, click on them and leave a comment saying why you gave them Reputation and your name.

Rep Bar Changes

If you have more negative rep than positive rep from warnings/infractions received by moderators, then your rep bar is http://bbs.evony.com/images/civony/m...card_small.gif
If you have no rep or a perfect balance of positive and negative (for a total of zero points), then your rep bar is http://bbs.evony.com/images/reputati...on_balance.gif
If you have a positive total of rep points, then your bar is http://bbs.evony.com/images/reputati...tation_pos.gif

You get one more bar every 100 points. Now you ask, "How many points of rep do I get?" It depends on the person who repped you. Here is the scale that determines how many points you give to people when you rep them:

Your 50th post gives you the first point of rep you can give.
Every 1000 posts = 1 point of rep you give
Every 100 points of rep = 1 point of rep you give
Every year you are on the forums (anniversary date) = 1 point of rep you give

EG. Lets say I give 9 rep points.
1 for being past 50th post
5 for 5,000+ posts
3 for 300+ rep

(I dont actualy give this amount of Rep)

Here is how your rep bar changes...

You get rep when other people see a post of yours they like, and they click on the scales in the upper right of the post to add to your rep. You can leave a little note when you click the scales if you want. I appreciate those notes, because I like to know who has repped me.

it is more of they are volunteered they dont ask to be a mod when reps believe some one is good on this forums and is a great help then give them these title and rota is right about forum guide.

This thread would be epic if you could link each of the moderators available so that people can just click the link and ask for help, rather than having to go find the mods, devs, guides, etc etc. You know what im saying?

Actually we do get one extra perk for being guides, we get to have 100x100 avatars like mods and reps and members still only get 80x80:D

I'm thinking it would be more at home in Forum Suggs, however. What do you folks think?

If I may ask, why would this belong in Forum Suggestions, this really only covers reputation, forum ranks, and titles. All stuff that if asked about should wind up in the H&Q forum.

Personally I feel it fits here fine in the Guide Forum. Possibly a little add on to the Library thread for those wondering about the Forum.
