Guide to capturing Historical Heroes (my experience and theories)
Well, as Woldere said in his guide, the best way to capture h-heroes that are 100-300 miles away from you is by building HUB.
First, take a pick of h-heroes of your fancy, type in the name in the Statistic-Hero (cap sensitive), and see if they are not in there then they maybe are still up for grab. Also note that if the h-hero info is 'x is in a flat' or 'x is in a city name', it means they are already capped.
Ok now you know your h-hero is available, pay the 10 cents and get the coord. If you're lucky he might be less than 30 miles near you, but most of the time it will be 100-300 miles from you.
Ok lets start.
Grab a flat near the h-hero's npc using cavs or scouts (faster obviously), then build your city which is mostly going to be 10-25hrs depending on distance. Server maintenance also auto-finish your city build, and this can be exploited.
In a HUB, the only things you need to build is Rally, Feasthall, Academy (lvl 6), Forge (for workshop), Workshop. Depending on the lvl of npc the h-hero is in u need to adjust to what lvl u build ur rally and feasthall (I usually just build lvl 7 feasthall and rally since it is enough for attacking lvl 1-9 npcs).
While building up your HUB, reinforce it with troops so by the time you finish you can immediately try to cap your h-hero.
H-heroes will usually take u around 25 attacks on average (base on my experience) and can range from 1-100 attacks to cap them.
I usually have 2 temporary city slot open, 1 for HUB and another 1 for next HUB. While I'm in my current HUB, I start on my next HUB as well. So when server maintenance finished, my next HUB is ready and if I already capped my h-heroes in current HUB, I just move my army from there to the next HUB and abandon the current HUB. I also have separate 250k arch 250k warrs army just for h-hero hunting.
