It doesn't matter much really. The Axis had already lost the war before this all happened, mainly at Stalingrad and Midway. So we're only talking "if Germany would've been able to slow down an inevitable defeat". And that's even without factoring in the Manhattan Project.
To answer the question: Yes I think they coulda beaten the allies in Italy.
Well actually, the inevitability of defeat stems far before the aforementioned battles. Germany, even in 1940 was unable to launch a solid invasion of the United Kingdom. The Kriegsmarine was simply a joke of a navy (the single mock landing performed resulted in half of the ships capsizing, and that was against an undefended beach), the RAF hadn't been defeated, the power of radio would enable the British to react speedily to a potential invasion, and the Germans had no amphibious landing craft anyway. In the 1970s, a number of wargames were played out to determine whether Operation Sealion would have been feasible, and the Germans were defeated every single time. It was only after giving Germany practically every single advantage in the book that they were able to succeed, albeit with heavy losses predicted.
So to the main point. It was impossible for Germany to invade Britain, thus making their submission impossible. Germany was unable to field any large quantity of men in North Africa, thus making an advance in to Egypt and the Levant impossible for the poorly supplied Africa Corps. The Germans overextended themselves in Russia in 1941, and therefore the submission of them was impossible too. Germany was faced with war on three different fronts, and it was physically impossible for them to knock any of the countries involved out of the war.

The Axis lost the war when they delayed to attack Greece. 2 weeks difference would've saved them the winter. They would've captured Moscow and forced Britain to the negotiating table.
Simply put, if Hitler wasn't such an idiot in helping Mussolini, he would've won the war.
Incorrect. That's popular perception of things for you. The truth is, the rasputiza (sp?) still made the roads in Eastern Europe impassable during Operation Marita (the German invasion of the Balkans), and therefore no time was actually "lost". Therefore, the Germans would have lost either way.

Yeah big mistake there... not 100% sure they would've won then though.
And the USA with a nuke and Germany defeating USSR... that would've been an interesting situation. I'm sure Hitler would not surrender, no matter how many nukes would've been used on them.
Unless they went ahead and nuked Hitler himself...
