Change of rules

Please read the Rules posted at the top of the forum as changes have been made. I'm sorry, but I must close all religious and political threads.

How come it was changed? I pressed submit for a post in the religion poll and then I found out the thread was closed. I hope it's okay to discuss history though.

History is fine, and you may continue to have this as a place where no spam or derailment occurs.

Admin made the decision that varying from our posted rules was not a good idea. I'm sorry.

Well I can see where the administration is coming from with their decision so I fully respect it. Maybe Conrad Jalowski could be assigned to moderate the forum however, since he's well versed in debate and would do a nice job keeping it tidy.

Hm... Well, I 'm not going to try to argue with this... Anyway, we should get some new threads up then on different topics; did anyone else notice there's now a total of four open discussions?

what about current politics

I'm afraid current politics are really not allowable by the forum rules.

If you want to talk about Obama, that would be discussing politics. A discussion of free speech is different and I think we can allow that.

please, just dont ban ALL serious discussion... then we wouldnt have anything to talk about..
