Thats how i picture OT

We fight like cats and dogs. but in the end we are still one big happy family who likes to run in the fields, hold hands and hug trees.

Since i started reading the forum theres always someone trying to change OT, it's always dying theres always too many flamers or goody two shoes blah blah blah like that bird your mom let your little sister get that never shuts up. It happens it will always happen

so lets get back to hugging trees :)

Ikeni, your thread went ok in my opinion. Even the trolls settled down and got into the discussion eventually. But perhaps that's because you did most of the things that I suggested, so I don't understand the point you are trying to make. If you think the trolling was bad there, I could take you onto some online game boards that would have you shaking with fear at the ferocity of the flaming that goes on. These boards are mild compared to most.

This bit here seems to be pointed at me, so I'll address it.

People got flamed out of OT by the older folks typically only when they deserved it.

LKD, is another story entirely. Everything he said was pure stupidity. Nobody followed him around to mock him (as far as I know). The closest event to following him around was when I had gone into the forum suggestion section (an area I visited regularly LONG before LKD ever showed up), saw something stupid posted there, and made fun of it. In fact, I hadn't even known it was LKD until I got an infraction for trolling something that was completely idiotic and impractical. That is actually also the only time I will ever accuse FoxyBunny of bias.

I made fun of LKD when he posted stupid things. So did everyone else. I got made fun of when I posted stupid things (it was rare, but it happened). And you know what? So did everyone else. That was the way things went.

For you to continuously bring up LKD when:

1. He isn't active anymore.
2. You weren't even around when he WAS active. And don't bother indicating that you're FB's husband and that you easily hear of such things. I'm informed in that regard.
3. He stopped getting made fun of when he stopped posting stupid things.

Seems to indicate perhaps just a glimmering of FB behind your posts. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Maybe I'm not. I don't really care.

And honestly, I'm not sure why I'm bothering to enter this discussion considering what I just posted last here.

I don't know why you felt it was aimed at you, for one thing you have been in OT longer than the group that tried to claim ownership of OT. I do not "continuously" bring up LKD this was the first time. I was on these forums before he was, after he became more active I was a mod and even infracted a few people for flaming him.

A glimmering of FB behind my posts? Yeah you are just paranoid. Maybe you entered the discussion because you have a guilty conscience, who knows. I still remember how you used to be, then how you became and got banned and now you are mostly back to your old self.

I felt it was aimed at specificly because it seemed to fringe upon what I discussed in the previous post. I saw LKD mentioned a several times in the past few pages, so perhaps I made a mistake. My bad. I'm a little tired. I work all night doing demanding physical labour. And I can't sleep today because I have more work here in just another hour. Forgive me for not being able to recall every name thats used LKD in the past 10 pages I read. Also, do forgive me for getting a timeline messed up. It was QUITE some time ago. Damn near a year. I had thought you were inactive, but I could be mistaken on that.

I said I don't care if I'm paranoid or not. It was a statement, not an accusation. Guilty conscience? For what? Making fun of people? I make fun of every god damned person on this earth, regardless of race, religion, age, size, you name it I make fun of them. Stupid people just happen to be prominent in that list. And honestly, how I used to be was infinitely more fun then I ever have been since then.

And obviously you do not remember how I got banned. Need I refresh your memory?
I coined a phrase, which indicated the failure of an RP due to the actions of its maker. This phrase was "Elsworthd". I made a thread, and got Zenrax to sticky it in the RP section. Elsworth, doing what he always did whenever he got the slightest bit made fun of, reported it. Swansea waltzed in, and banned me. No questions asked. I perhaps overstretched my limits after that, but I was a little bit ****y because I'd been banned over something so small as a joke. Incidentally, that phrase was something Elsworth himself started using within days. Oh, and need I remind you that it was YOUR wife who helped me convince Swansea that I deserved another chance on the forum? And who helped me get this account back months later?
As to what I am now, its not what I was before. Not even close. I guarantee you that.

As to what you are? You certainly aren't the likable guy I knew back last summer.

And now, I've reached my limit of idiotic squabbling. I knew there was a damn good reason I stopped following this thread when it was made. And its because I don't like reading things that make me want to hit my head off a wall.

How about this, this thread is for the Future of Off Topic. Too many people want to dredge up the past, everything changes just not the way everyone would always like it. So why not discuss where you the community would like to see it go. How do you see OT in 6 months from now? How would you like to see OT in 6 months from now. There is a constant influx of people in and out of the forums, some come to OT most don't. What can you do in the future to make it more inviting to all forum members? What do you think keeps people away from the OT? How do you think, you as a forum member can make it more appealing to all forum users at this moment?
