The question is how did the 2000 defending archers die in the first round?
Pults. From 2500, the enemy archers can reach 4900. All it takes is for the balis and/or pults to be behind this line, and the archers have to make a subsequent move to 3000 to be able to hit them. In this case, the Pults should stop at 4960, outside of the archer range. When the archers move to 3000, the pults get a shot at them.
Yeah pretty much straight up
Have any of you tried sending 2 waves of 100k or 125k pikemen before the archer waves my alliance has had succes with those for taking out all the calvery in the city before the archers attack.
Lol Satan didn't have to Blur my Name and stuff off the Mech Report, I don't mind sharing it now anyway.
Anything on 16's yet?
In your LVL14 strategy:
With a 400 attack hero... not even closeQuote:
Wave 4: 150k Archers, 2k warriors, Swordsmen and Pikemen kills 250k Swordsmen
Actually his not off by far but your correct that it won't kill 250k, will kill about 200-220k, with 650 attack we normally get about 270k so.
This is the one that's way off really, won't get no were close to 150k Swords killed.Quote:
Wave 3: 156k Archers. kills remaining Archers and ~150k Swordsmen
With a 715 Attack Hero using a 185k Archer wave with only 15k Archers left, it just killed 150k Swords.
with compass 9 u think u could get cross fire with archers if pike are on defence?
Yeah, those numbers aren't static. I'm working on making a static kill rate on the lv 14s, but this surgery has really slowed me down. It's hard to think when your on painkillers. I'll try to get it out next week, but idk. In the meantime, I'll edit a bit.
Yeah Satan get of the drugs its killing your mathematical performance
That doesn't match the report, will it still work without 20k archs and reduced rams.Quote:
Wave 2: 120k Ballistae, 1.25k Workers, warriors, Pikes, Swords, and Rams.
Yeah, that report is old next time I take a 12 i'll share one.
WoW nice man
cool!
For the lvl 14 guide... I have lvl 100 reg heros with 380-390 or so average attack, 100 leadership. No Excalibur but good gear. couple of HH with higher base
intels vary on the lvl 100's though, generally far lower than HH. (and you didn't mention intels importance on spears.. so I don't know if it will be an issue).
good job i should try this
ahh can a lvl 12 draft from a 14 or 16?
Satan you need to add a Guide on 14s with 300 Attack, Japanpimp said it can't be done but so yeah idk think it might be not be possible we know how his always right you know. :duh:
No Japanpimp said it can't be done! He is right about everything man, look at his amazing strategies, if he says it can't man we shouldn't try, didn't you hear him say you can't take over a 12 without spending lots of money for high attack !!
On a Serious note going a guide for 14s with 200 attack would be pretty good.
Will be attempting the 14 right above my 12 whenever I finish leveling my heroes.
I have 2 HHs, one that is 570 and another that is ~540. Queen at ~420, and a few other's at level 100, ~400. Just finishing up a few more level 100 vanilla heroes and then I'll make my assault. Drafting from 12's would be naaaasty warriors...
Satan: Could this be done with 6 400+ heroes? Keep in mind 2 of them will be 550+. I figure with the 10% speed buff from FB and all having level 10 mounts with no return time, I could send 12 waves in a span of 5-6 minutes from my 12. The 14 is only 4 miles or so above my 12. Do you think that would work? Obviously I'd have a 2nd city 1 tile away for loy spam (and I'd reinforce it with my heroes prior to the loy spams since 1 scout reins would take 5 seconds).
Sounds good. Waiting eagerly.
Sigh, Finally done! Up next is my theory for level 16s. The work never ends.
Has anyone taken a 12 in the last 24hrs? Our alliance has attacked 5 today and losses were off the charts. Every single attack was identical to the dozens of previous attacks we've made and 4 of the 5 attacks were by players that already had 12s. The only difference was better heroes on our side.
On all of our attacks we've followed Satan's (awesome) advice to the last letter. Here's one sample result:
Penicillin On, War Horn On, All Heroes >400 atk.
18 x warrior bombs
(following waves spaced every 30 seconds plus or minus 5 unless noted).
Wave 1: no report
Wave 2: kills rest of cav
Wave 3 - 6: no report
Wave 7: Kills Swords, 8k archers, and cav regen
(2 min pause)
Wave 8-16: no report
Wave 17: Starts killing Warriors
Wave 18 - 21: Kills rest of Warriors
All of the attacks were just like the one above give or take a few waves.
Like I said 4 of the 5 attacks were by players that have capped 12's before. Our total losses for 5 cities were 7.1million archers.
Any chance Evony changed the defending heroes mechanics?
One weird thing to add, we did think it awful strange that we all got good scouts on the same day. We have 14 players looking for 12s right now. 10 people scouted today (2 are MIA and 2 decided to not try). That means that 50% of our scouts on 10 different 12s showed the right defending configuration. Battle reports agreed with the scout reports though.
Update: we just hit another one and it was totally normal and inline with expectations. Losses were a few hundred thousand. Really weird.
To the above post, I have seen some real weird battle reports from level 12s in the past few days which leads me to believe Evony might have changed the hero system in Historical Cities from a standard set of attack/intel, to a varying one, which is REAL annoying if true.
Yeah its not bad only thing is asking for 125 leadership that means basically HH are needed, only problem i can see for standard people but otherwise nice :)
We haven't had any problems but if i notice will say so, and yes that would be annoying.
If you wish to further decrease you Losses then you may replace you last 2-3 waves with a Ballista Mech attack from a HC12 that will take only small losses.
Final Wave: 140k Ballista/2k Archers/2k Battering Rams/2k Pike/2k Sword/2k Warr/2k Work
